The Absolute Best Apps For High School And College Students

As students were always looking for the best apps to make high school and college that little bit easier. After much deliberation, I have managed to compile a list of the best apps out there for us students. From help with finance management to the best games to play in lectures. Have a look through and find your next best app this year.

Chip

Chip is a must-have app for anyone but is especially useful for students who struggle saving money or are trying to get out of that never-ending overdraft. So it works by using an  algorithm to calculates how much you can afford to put away, without making that much of a difference to your balance. It then puts it away for you automatically. Chip connects with almost any and every bank, from Barclays to Co-operative Bank to Metro Bank accounts. So download today and start saving.

Colour road

Colour road is the actually probably the best app you will ever download onto your phone. . I will vouch for it till I die. Why is it so great you ask? Well not only does it not require 100% concentration meaning you can play it whilst watching tv, in a lecture (what? Who said that?) on the toilet, wherever! Also its not at all hard master it so you’ll be a pro in no time!!

Syft

Syft is the best app for student job seekers. They’ve cut out the middleman, provide on-demand shifts to jobseekers working in the hospitality, events and industrial sectors across the UK. Once verified, you can access shifts at any time you please. The flexibility is great for students with varied schedules.

Drunk Mode

Drunk mode is the best app when it comes to night outs as a student. When drunk, the likelihood of us doing things we will then regret in the morning skyrockets. Whether it’s calling your ex continuously or sending a fairly rude and unprofessional message to your boss this app will help put an end to that ASAP. Drunk mode allows you to hide certain contacts for up to 12hrs. Nice and easy. No temptation to do anything that will leave you cringing for days.

Shazam

Now if you don’t already have Shazam I don’t really know what to say – other than you’re a fool. A big fool. You know when you’re out and about shopping and what not and you hear a song and think to yourself “uuuh this is slightly a bob”. Or when you’re at a party and a song bangs but you have no idea what it’s called. Well, fear no more. This is the best app for those times. With just a click of a button, it will give you the name of the artist and song in a matter of seconds.

Sleep Cycle

Now if you’re like me and absolutely love a good nights sleep this is the best app for you. Being woken up from a beautiful deep sleep leaves me grotty, moody and annoyed for more or less the rest of the day. But, with sleep cycle, there’s no need to worry about that happening. The app tracks your movement and wakes you up when you’re in your lightest sleep, leaving you feeling more refreshed and awake once you’re up!

Unidays

What a glorious app. No joining fee or hidden payments, just log in with your university credentials and that’s it. You’re blessed with hundreds of discounts to use and abuse as you please. From restaurant offers, drinks deals or clothing discounts. There’s deals for any and every type of student.

Alright, so you can thank me later because there is absolutely no doubt these apps will make your time at high school or college just a little bit easier.
