I adore long nails! But being someone who types on her keyboard quite a lot, shorter nails would surely make my life a lot easier – oh, the sacrifices. Maybe I’m some mutant freak of nature who has pretty much learnt to, with ease, carry out all tasks of life with long nails. However, the majority of normal ladies out there probably aren’t as, shall we say, talented (hehehe *face-palm*) Moving swiftly onto our 10 pictures of short fake nails that are actually practical!

1) Pink-nude & almond-shaped

You cannot get anymore feminine than this in my opinion, nor any simpler! These short nails are so perfect and practical for everyday, and the tiny little stick-on diamonds on the ring finger nail give the look a touch of sparkle. I personally love almond-shaped nails because I feel they make the hands look slightly more elongated and feminine.

As is the case with stripes and polka dots, I love the ombre effect on pretty much everything 😀 and of course, that includes nails! This is one of the prettiest pictures of short fake nails that are glam, casual and actually practical – all at once. The vampy, deep-mauve shade is stunning and reminds me of the midnight sky.

10) Matte Mermaid

Another picture of matte short nails!
