Cruelty free makeup is getting more popular these days. Why? As veganism and vegetarianism is gaining popularity, ethical issues regarding animal cruelty are coming to the forefront and people are now questioning the ingredients and the process their products have been thorough. An important note that not many people know is that a brand can be cruelty free when it does not test its products on animals ANYWHERE. There are so many companies that are ‘cruelty free’ in Europe and America, but actually they are not because they allow animal testing in China (*cough* Smashbox *cough*).
