Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the very one that most people tend to jump (me included). Sometimes in the morning, especially if it is early morning, I tend to sleep more and skip breakfast, which is what happens to most of us. When I was a student I would wake up a few minutes before classes started and just have a coffee. Doing this for one year literally shut my body down. Breakfast is important because it breaks the fasting period we experience at night. Your body needs sugar and other essential nutrients to keep your energy level up throughout the day. So, girls, if you are skipping breakfast for whatever reason, stop doing it.
Eating a healthy breakfast will help you to concentrate during the day and will make you feel less tired. There is nothing worse than that terrible feeling you get when you are hungry and counting down the minutes until lunchtime. So, not only will breakfast keep you full until lunch but it also actually gives our brain the energy to focus during our day.
