Are you a nature lover? Then this is the spot for you. Even if you’re not, the Montreal Botanical Gardens hold something for everyone. From the large variety of plants to the “butterflies go free” exhibit, it truly is a breathtaking place to take in some fresh air and relax.
Mount Royal is definitely a must-visit location if you ever get the chance to come to Montreal. It is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious and fun picnic with friends while being able to take in the beauty of the park. Grand Prix weekend is one of the biggest weekends of the year in Montreal. This summer, it’s happening the weekend of June 7th, 8th and 9th. Go see some of the races, catch one of the many celebrities who come to town every year for the event, or just head to St-Laurent or Crescent street to catch the after-parties. There’s also always a lot of cool art and exhibits around the city at this time to draw in the crowds. Whatever you do, it’ll be a weekend to remember.
Montreal is one of the most diverse cities in Canada, and that’s definitely something to be proud of. The village is decorated with beautiful pink lights during the summer that make for a perfect street to stroll down in the summer, and maybe stop into a bar for some drinks.
