The Riverdale Outfits We All Can (And Should) Copy

Riverdale is one of our favorite TV shows right now, it’s sinister and dark but has an amazing story line. And when it comes to how the stars are dressed the wardrobe department know exactly what they’re doing. Each character has their own style which reflects their role on the show and here are a few of their looks which you can copy with tips on how you can change a little of your own style and try Riverdale outfits.

1. Cheryl Blossom

Cheryl Blossom is one of the darkest characters on Riverdale, she has the psycho aesthetic. Everything she wears is black white and red, and you cannot complete the look without her iconic red lipstick. To add a little touch of Cheryl to your own style you should find things like black chain chokers, maybe a red dress and a pair of killer heels. In this first picture she has paired a checked skirt with a plain red top and take notice of the little pin on her shoulder because she wears pins a lot.

In the second of Riverdale outfits she has a basic black top on with a pair of black jeans with red rose embroidery. This outfit is much more casual but is so Cheryl Blossom so this would be a better option for everyday wear.

2. Betty Cooper

Betty Cooper has the good girl aesthetic going on, her family seem to be the perfect American-dream family but when you take a deeper look it’s a lot darker. Betty looks like the perfect daughter, you’d often see her wearing pastel colours like pink, blue or grey. Her outfits and ponytail are just a facade for the darkness she has within.

These outfits both have similar grey tops with a white collar, if you want to look like Betty Cooper this is where you want to start, look for plain tops either with a collar or without because you can always find a collar elsewhere. In the first picture she has a pink skirt with buttons down the front and in the second just a pair of grey jeans. Looking like Betty is the easiest out of all the characters because what she wears is pretty ordinary because that’s the look she’s trying to give off in her Riverdale outfits.

3. Veronica Lodge

For the daughter of a crime lord Veronica Lodge sure does know how to dress. She acts like a dark twisted person but she might just be the sanest person on Riverdale. She is usually dressed in dark if not black clothes, mostly dresses. But she has an expensive taste, her dad is filthy rich so she only shops in the most expensive stores, think of her as the modern day Blair Waldorf.

To nail the Veronica Lodge look you should start off by getting a few dresses or skirts like these in the pictures, the darker the better. But remember that she usually wears plain clothes or clothes with subtle patterns and minimal jewelry. She mostly wears pearls around her neck and thin rings and bracelets. Pair this with dark purple lipstick and should look like Veronica. 

4. Josie McCoy

Josie McCoy is the lead singer in the Pussycats and everything about her is sassy right down to the things she wears. Josie is pretty much always wearing animal print and if you want to nail the Josie McCoy look then you’re in luck because animal print is the next big thing. Leopard print is something Josie wears more so you should try go for a leopard print skirt or if you want something small then how about a leopard print bag instead. 

One of the most iconic things in the Riverdale outfits, Josie McCoy wears is her cat eats head band, she wears this all the time, if you want to look like her then you should be able to find one in Claire’s. Leather jackets, hoop earrings and chain chokers are also things she wears a lot of the times.
