One of the much-loved series is 13 Reasons Why. If you haven’t heard of it, you should have! It is now on its second series and based on a novel by Jay Asher. The series revolved around high school student Clay Jensen and his deceased friend Hannah Baker, who committed suicide after failing to cope with culture, gossip and friendships within high school. The main plot revolves around a box of cassette tapes recorded by Hannah in the lead up to her suicide and the thirteen reasons why she ended her life. This series is incredibly important in raising awareness of suicide, rape, mental health and bullying. It is an incredible series and should be on your watch list!
