There can be a lot of pressure that comes with Halloween, especially when it comes to finding a great costume idea. If you are stuck for ideas, lacking inspiration and want to impress anyone that see’s your costume, then I have a list of ideas you need to try out this year. They are funny, fresh and unique. Get ready to go trick or treating!
This one can also make a great kids costume as it is Forky from Toy Story 4. This one is extremely relevant in 2019. If you grew up watching the first Toy Story, you should be into your 20’s right now and you may want to keep this one for yourself, as you are an OG Toy Story fan. You deserve it. This one you can totally DIY if you feel a little Martha Stewart inspired. If not I am sure you would be able to find a version of it somewhere on the internet. You can go as tame or as full-on with this costume as you feel comfortable. If you really want to go all out you can get the morph suit out, paint your face, the whole nine yards. This one is versatile. Most people should get this one, if not you can always have a screenshot on your phone of who Forky is. If you want to avoid that embarrassment, skip this one and go for one that you know your crowd will be familiar with. This is totally up to you. This is just a bit of inspiration for you, you can think of another recent movie that came out this year and go for that one. Take this as inspiration for you to come up with your own costume ideas that will surprise and delight everyone. Think of original ideas, they are always the most fun.
This is another one from a recent movie. Once again take this as inspiration, make it your own, or pick another character. This one is great for all of you who don’t like putting on uncomfortable or extravagant costumes, then this one is one that you should consider. All you have to do if you want to be comfortable is wear a Pikachu onesie and a flat cap. Halloween costume sorted. you don’t have to go that simple if you want to make this one super impressive. Once again, make it your own. Halloween can be cold if you live somewhere such as Australia. If that is the case and you plan on going to a party that is outside or trick or treating, then you should consider a costume that is covered and warm like this one. This will ensure that you are able to last all night. This is important, no one wants to be miserable at a party simply because they didn’t wear enough clothes. Stay warm and be comfortable, after a few drinks at a Halloween party you won’t really care if you are wearing a cool costume anyway. So consider a costume that you are able to have the more fun partying in. This is an important aspect if you ask me.
Now this one you could do as a group, however, if you want to do this one buy yourself, pick the fab five members that are most easily recognized, in my opinion, that would be Jonathan. Gather your friends and pick a member and get dressed. This idea is pretty easily achievable through clothes and items you could find either in your own wardrobe of someone close to you. Raid a guys wardrobe and you will be able to find the clothes you are looking for. This one is super relevant in today’s pop culture. These guys are doing great things and you should show your support by dressing up as them for Halloween. Now I will admit that if you are not standing in a group with all five members you may not be super recognizable. This is a judgment call. Just think if your friends that you will be around know of the Fab Five, or if they watch the show, if not and you don’t want to spend the whole night explaining who you are dressed up as then maybe think about a different costume. This is totally up to you and your friends. This is a more unique group costume idea so hopefully, you won’t be running into too many other people dressed as Tan France. This is definitely a costume idea that you should consider for Halloween 2019.
Once again another recent movie idea. You can do this one either as a couples costume or simply by yourself, I would say that Aquaman himself is more recognizable, and just because Aquaman is a man doesn’t it can’t be turned into a women’s costume. Make it your own, go crazy. This one you can totally DIY, but there are hundreds of Aquaman costumes available to but if you want to skip the hassle. Totally up to you and how much time you have on your hands. If you are a fan of props then this one would be the one for you. This is a great chance to try out the wet hair look that we see the Kardashians rocking all the time. If you are like me and you are not quite brave enough to try out that hairstyle in everyday life, then Halloween is the time to do it. If you try it out and discover that it does not really suit you then hey at least you figured it out on Halloween when it doesn’t really matter, it is apart of the costume just go with it. Who doesn’t love a superhero costume, and at least with this one you will stand out amongst the thirty other Wonder Women around you.
