Homemade Tomato Soup

What you need: chopped carrots, chopped yellow onion, minced garlic, tomato paste, flour, chicken broth, dried thyme, bay leaf, San Marzano tomatoes, bacon (optional)

This is a fall soup recipe classic! We recommend that this is your go-to fall soup recipe because it is never gets old. The best part of the recipe is that you can also had some bacon! When you cook your veggies, add a bacon into the mix. The bacon flavor mixes very well with the rich and creamy flavor of the classic tomato soup. Depending on how you chop your tomatoes, you can go for a creamy and smooth feel or a chunky tomato soup. Personally, I’m a fan of the chunky tomato soup recipe and chop my tomatoes into thicker pieces, but it is up to you! This is best served with fresh bakery bread to dip!

This is a newer version of a wonderful fall soup recipe and it is so worth your time. Honestly, this is one of my absolute favorite fall soup recipes for the season because of the rich flavor and savory taste. I would recommend serving this soup with peanuts and rice! This addition really adds to the crunch and to the texture of the soup.
