The 5 Best Coffee Shops In Long Beach CA

Here are five of the best coffee shops in Long Beach CA. The coffee in Long Beach is amazing so you may as well give these cafes a go!

Aroma Di Roma

This is a must try coffee shop, located in Belmont Shore. In the mornings it gets super busy and I have no question why (their “Sexy Bagel” is absolutely mouth watering). Its modern, European look and welcoming atmosphere make it the perfect spot to catch up with a friend or to simply get some work done. Even if you don’t like coffee, I highly recommend their chai latte!!

Portfolio

This is a local shop that’s located among several vintage shops on 4th Street, so basically the perfect location for a cute coffee shop. If you closed your eyes, you would get the perfect balance of chitter chatter, music, and that overall hum a coffee shop should have. It’s very spacious and has plenty of seating: couches, tables, and an outdoor seating area so if you wanted to get some studying done, Portfolio is the place to go!

The Library

It makes sense that it’s called The Library because of how quiet it gets. The vibes can be described as cozy and warm, which is ideal for people who want to feel like they’re snuggling up with a blanket and cup of tea at home. But it’s not always quiet; every week they have open mic comedy night, which is great to meet people and to have a good ol laugh!

Viento y Agua

As soon as you walk inside Viento y Agua, you’ll feel like you’re in a Tim Burton film. It doesn’t scream fancy but it sure does scream comfort. Filled with Mexican inspired art all around you, it creates a chill, laid back environment that works as the perfect hangout or study spot. Every Thursday, there’s Open Mic Night which usually has amazing performers and music.

Rose Park Roast

This coffee shop is designed to look super sleek and clean and gives off a complete minimalist feel. It’s a stellar spot for catching up with a friend or reading a book, as the windows bring in beautiful natural lighting. Parking is a little difficult to find and there aren’t many tables inside, but trust me it’s worth it to visit Rose Park.
