The Best Adele Songs that Made the World Cry

Adele songs made a huge impact on the globe. The songs have made her one of the most successful artists ever. Below I listed the Best Adele songs that are reasons for her massive influence.

Rolling in the Deep

This is the first song I have ever heard from Adele. I will never forget jamming to this tune when it arrived on the radio. I was amazed by how upbeat the song was, the background vocals, and of course, her forefront vocals. This song was such a delight to hear.

Rolling in the Deep became a massive hit in early 2012. It sold 8.7 million copies in the United States, making it the best-selling song by a female artist. The song even topped the charts worldwide, paving her way for international superstardom.

Although this song isn’t her first hit, it outdid her earlier work. It has set the blueprint for her earth-shattering, record-breaking diva era.

Chasing Pavements

Before we get to THE era, I would like to acknowledge Adele’s humble yet great beginning. Her first album, 19, was a big hit in the UK. It became a top 10 bestselling album in multiple countries, including the U.S. Many people find this work of art to be an easy listen. It is a calming album that is perfect to play at a coffee shop. I personally love playing songs from this album when I am studying. It helps me focus.

Chasing Pavements is a beautiful song. It is actually one of my favorite Adele songs. I pull this masterpiece during the fall, as it reminds me of the cold wind, autumn leaves, and sunsets over the forest. It is one of the most iconic songs that came out during the early 2000s.

Send My Love (To Your New Lover)

Send My Love is one of her most upbeat hits to date. It counters the sad impact Hello left on the world. The song was a satirical take on a toxic relationship she had. She literally tells her ex to send her love to his new lover. She basically said “good luck on your next relationship.”

The lyrics have a hint of sadness but the production suggests something else. It is almost as if she is empowered by the situation. Even the music video presents positivity. She dances to the beat and gestures the man to let go. It is a simple but iconic array of visuals.

I would like to call Send My Love a song about self-worth. If the man is not worth your time, erase them from your life.

Someone Like You

I honestly cannot tell which song was bigger; Rolling in the Deep or Someone Like You. Both were two of the biggest hits from 21. They are such iconic songs. They are so different at the same time.

Unlike Rolling in the Deep, Someone Like You is very stripped back. The instrumentals include a piano and her voice. That’s it! What makes this song is her incredible vocals, iconic piano verses, and thoughtful lyrics. It has moved so many people around the world. I’ve even met people who are not fans of piano ballads who love this song. It made an impact this big!

The music video is very simple. It is one shot of her walking the street of Paris. It is simple but gorgeous. One of her most-watched videos.

Hello

This is her biggest hit to date! The minute this song was released to the world, everyone went bonkers. I will never forget hearing everyone singing along to the song at High School. It was released at midnight, six hours before I had to go to school. And those six hours afterward was an experience. People could not stop talking about Adele.

The song topped every chart possible, overshadowed every artist that released music in the same year, and won our hearts. What’s funny is that the ultimate “Hello” song came from Lionel Richie. Everyone quoted his song as a joke. Now, Adele has taken the salutations throne. For years, every time my mom answers the phone, she says… “Hello.”

This is also one of her saddest songs. She sings about a failed relationship and holds herself accountable for it. It is rare to hear breakup songs where the singer admits their part to play.

Easy On Me

After six years of staying dormant, Adele finally releases her first single in forever. When she first announced the release of Easy On Me, the whole world went bonkers. It is insane how this song became the talk of the town BEFORE it got released. And when it finally hit the music market, the whole industry had its eyes on Adele.

Easy On Me is one of the best comebacks ever. Adele gives us some of her best vocals, lyrics, and emotions. It really is one of her most emotional songs. Like Hello, Easy On Me is about a breakup. But this time, the stakes are higher because it is a divorce. Adele also sings to her child, apologizing for the situation she put him in. She also asks him to go Easy On Her, because she is trying to figure out her trajectory in life.

To Be Loved

Did you think Easy On Me was emotional? The second to last song to her latest album, 30, is a masterpiece. Like many of her piano ballads, there are two instruments used. The piano keys and her voice. What’s different here is that Adele’s vocals move to depths listeners are not ready for. Her voice does things that she hasn’t done before. It is insane!

Adele delivers the most heart-wrenching and emotional song ever. I have never cried so hard over a song before. The general public agrees with tears in their eyes. It is that good!

If you haven’t heard it, please do. It is one hell of an experience!
