There are a lot of trends going on in the fashion scene. Some are new but I noticed a lot of them are just trends that are exactly like or similar to styles that were trending decades ago. Here are some really fun retro styles that are back from the past that you should definitely try out.
These hair accessories can be worn in your hair or around your wrist. They’re small but are a great way to add a pop of a color or pattern to any plain outfit. Some people even collect these because they come in so many styles and don’t break the budget. There are even unique ones that people handmake.

Remember as a kid when you and all your friends had graphic shirts with the quirkiest saying? Well, that trend as a kid also trended way before you were a kid. This cool retro style is making a comeback also with teens and young adults but instead of some weird duck saying some pun, it’s a band. Graphic tees let you express what you love in a fashionable way, whether it’s a band or something else, the graphic tees from your childhood have gotten a retro update.

Skinny jeans are great for showing off your figure, but flare pants are a retro style that can also enhance it. With a wider leg, this pants style can give the illusion of you having thinner thighs and enhance the curviness of your body. Not only that but these pants are very stylish and can be paired with so many different tops.

Denim on denim is one of those retro styles that might sound bizarre at first but when you know how to style and wear the fabric, then you can look like a fashion influencer. I like to wear a denim jacket that is the same color as my denim pants but there are other ways to wear denim. Denim shirts, denim accessories, and more, styling denim is easy, you just need to find what works best for you.

Overalls, specifically jeans, are also something you might’ve remembered as a kid, or even remember seeing it on your favorite 80s/90s television series. This piece of clothing is one of the most comfortable ones and it can be super casual or you can dress it up. Overalls are definitely making a comeback and I don’t think anyone is mad about that.

The 90s were full of amazing fashion trends and one that can be seen a lot through influencers are tiny color rectangle glasses. These add a pop to your outfit and can also help bring attention to your face with makeup that matches your whole fit. I would recommend getting ones that are protective from the sun so you can wear them while protecting your eyes.

These retro accessories can spice up your outfit like a necklace but are a little better because they don’t constantly flip throughout the day or get tangled, they just sit around your neck. Like scrunchies, these come in so many styles. Try pairing the two accessories together!

Not all skirts and dresses look great with bare legs, that’s where knee socks come in. You can go for plain black or white ones or get colored or patterned ones to make your outfit more fun.
