10 Places You Need To Eat In New Brunswick Before You Graduate

There are so many delicious restaurants you need to eat in New Brunswick before you graduate. So before you dance out of the university with your new degree, help out businesses in the area by grabbing a bite at these awesome locations. They have something for everyone!

1. Stuff Yer Face

Burgers. Stromboli. Potachos. Steak sandwiches. Chicken Sandwiches. Nachos. Yes, you know where I’m eating on my cheat day. Stuff Yer Face knows how to make great comfort food. And it’s been around since 1977 in New Brunswick.

2. Due Mari

Seafood and Italian cuisine unite at Due Mari. It’s a little more pricey than the other locations listed here. However, it’s great for a date night or special occasion. They serve pasta, lamb chops, scallops, and even squid. Fancy isn’t even the word.

3. Hansel and Griddle

If the punny name of the restaurant didn’t immediately make you fall in love, this might: Smoothies, paninis, and breakfast that’s served all day. The restaurant is truly a slice of heaven. They even offer tank tops and tees to show off your Hansel pride!

4. Cookie Rush

The first thing that you may notice about their website is that they claim to be “New Jersey’s first made to order cookie delivery business.” And if you love fresh, out-of-the-oven cookies, Cookie Rush is for you. They also offer ice cream sandwiches, brownies, and milkshakes. They are open until 4am, even on weekends. Um, can you say convenient?

5. KBG Korean BBQ & Grill

This restaurant creates food with really authentic flavors. Their KBG bowl is a fan fave, which contains meat as well as ELEVEN vegetables. And can I just take a moment to mention how beautiful the dishes look? There’s nothing that impresses me more than pretty, great-tasting food.

6. Surf Taco

We were blessed with a Surf Taco at Rutgers when The Yard was constructed. Hot tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and wraps will melt your heart. If that weren’t already enough, they also have chicken tenders, waffle fries, and rice and beans. So there’s something for everyone.

7. Destination Dogs

Obsessed with hot dogs? Or looking for a new spin on a classic? This is the place for you. Some of their interesting toppings include wild boar sausage, mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, and vegemite aioli. You definitely won’t get bored at Destination Dogs.

8. honeygrow (hg)

If you aren’t about that healthy life, wyd? honeygrow makes its food with fresh, local produce. They offer yummy salads, customizable stir-fry, and so much more. My personal favorite is the “honeybar,” which is a mixture of fruit, syrup/honey, and other toppings.

9. Thomas Sweet

Now who doesn’t love ice cream? #1 way to cope with midterms and finals, in my opinion. What’s unique about Thomas Sweet is the toppings that they offer. You can get hot apples, coffee syrup, or even hot butterscotch. Mmm. I’m hungry just thinking about it.

10. Hidden Grounds

When you need a caffeinated pick-me-up, Hidden Grounds is the place to be. Their cream cheese bagels are also simple but so delicious. Hidden Grounds actually recently opened an espresso bar (another store) that’s right off of College Avenue that focuses specifically on drinks. Even the atmosphere of both of the locations is super comfortable and welcoming.
