10 Places In Boston You Need To Go

When you’re visiting the greatest city on earth you should have a plan of where to visit. There’s hundreds of spots in Boston that are worth going to so to help you out here’s 10 places that you need to go:

1. Fenway Park:

You don’t need to be a baseball fan to have a fun time at Fenway Park. If you ever get the chance to visit Boston you won’t regret spending a warm summer evening at baseball’s most historic park. Tickets are cheap for mid-season games and although baseball can be boring, the atmosphere is great and your night is bound to be full of memories. 

2. Museum of Science:

If you’re in Boston and looking for a day full of discovery and learning then visit the Museum of Science. The Museum of Science is a great place to spend a rainy day. Visit the butterfly garden, play in the science playground, or visit some dinosaurs; There’s an endless amount of things to do at the Museum Of Science, and is somewhere you need to stop by while in Boston. 

3. New England Aquarium:

Aquariums are always a hit, especially when they are ocean-side. The New England Aquarium is a sight to see, whether it’s the central tank filled with hundreds of fish and turtles, the penguin exhibit, or the touch tank where you can pet baby sharks and rays. The aquarium is always a blast and is one of several places you need to visit while in Boston. 

4. Boston Common/Public Garden:

While in Boston it’s tough to miss the Boston Common and Public Garden. They lie adjacent to each other in the center of downtown and are impossible to miss. Spend a winter day at the Common ice skating at Frog Pond or spend a summer evening taking in the beautiful scenery; The Common and Public Garden are a perfect place for any season.  

5. Prudential Center:

The Prudential Center is one of the many staples of Boston. It’s one of the most prominent buildings that Boston has to offer, and has much more to offer. Not only does it house offices for many companies, but also is the home of a great shopping center. If the occasion is special then go to the restaurant on the top floor (Top of the Hub) for an unbelievable view of the city. 

6. TD Garden:

The TD Garden is the heart and soul of a true Bostonian. If you ever find yourself in Boston and not sure what to do there’s sure to be something going on at the Garden, whether it’s a Bruins game, Celtics game, or concert/special event. A true trip to Boston isn’t complete without at least a quick visit to TD Garden. 

7. Museum of Fine Arts:

Even if you’re not a fan of art, the Museum of Fine Arts is a great place to spend a day in Boston. The paintings and ancient artifacts are unique and interesting even to those who have no idea what they are, and the MFA is a place you need to experience at least once while in Boston.

8. Newbury Street:

If you’re in Boston and feeling fancy, Newbury street is one of several spots you can visit. Newbury street is lined with high end clothing stores, hot food spots, and plenty of other places to stop by. It’s an awesome spot to spend an afternoon and a great place to get some hot new clothes. 

9. Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum:

Boston is one of the most historical cities in the world and was the home of many events involving The Revolutionary War. While in Boston visit the site of the historic dumping of tea that helped pave the way for America. Not only will you learn a great deal about the Boston Tea Party, but also will have an unforgettable, immersive experience. 

10. Blue Man Group:

Stop by the Charles Playhouse for the unforgettable entertainment experience of Blue Man Group. The performance is funny, exciting, and immersive for all crowds of all ages. If you’re ever in Boston you won’t regret the unique, once in a lifetime experience of seeing Blue Man Group perform live.
