Our Favourite Glossier Products You’ll Want To Try

Aside from their gorgeous millennial pink and simplistic branding, Glossier is best known for their beauty, body, and skincare products.

1. Balm Dot Com

This product truly lives up to it’s namesake. Balm dot com really is, the bomb dot com. Do we even use that saying anymore? Either way, if you are highly susceptible to dry or chapped lips, this Glossier product will be your next holy grail. Though you don’t have to limit the product to just your lips. Balm Dot Com is a universal skin salve, and can be applied to other dry areas that need a little more love. It comes in seven different flavours: Original (which is fragrance free), Birthday, Rose, Cherry, Mint, Coconut, and their newest one, Mango. If you want a slight tint to your balm, we recommend going with Cherry or Mango. For something whimsical, Birthday sparkles. Buy a set of three for $40 CAD, or one for $15 CAD.

2. Cheek Paint

Once you try out Glossier’s cheek paint, we swear you’re never going to use another blush again. The gel-cream formula to this particular product is truly a game changer. You won’t ever have to worry about putting too much on because it blends seamlessly onto your cheeks, leaving you with a natural looking flush. Glossier’s cheek paint comes in six gorgeous colours that you can wear individually or combine to create a new pigment for you to play with. Our personal favourites are Beam and Dusk. The dark nude tones to Dusk is perfect for your contour while the coral pinky-ness to Beam will give your cheeks a warm glow. Buy one for $22 CAD or a duo for 36$ CAD.

3. Generation G

If you’re a fan of lip stains, Glossier’s Generation G may become your next favourite lipstick. It glides easily across your lips, while giving you a natural looking colour. This sheer, matte lipstick is perfect for when you’re going for a laid back, casual make-up look. There are six different shades but we’re in love with Cake, which will give your lips a subtle peach tint. You can buy one for $20 CAD.

4. Boy Brow

This Glossier product is a fan favourite for a reason. It will give you the Cara Delevingne brows you always wish you had, without making you look overdone. Treat Boy Brow as you would a hair pomade, as its creamy wax formula is inspired by this hair product. So, bearing that in mind, you would use the Spoolie brush to comb through your brow hairs – not to paint onto the skin behind it. Fluff or comb your brow hairs however you please in order to achieve the brow goal you are looking for. You can purchase Glossier’s Boy Brow in Clear, Blond, Brown or Black for $20 CAD. Recently Glossier put out Brow Flick, a brand new brow product that adds more dimension and definition to sparse brows. Couple the two products together for truly out-of-this-world brows!

5. Glitter Gelée

Earlier this year, Glossier launched Glossier Play, a new makeup brand of “dialed-up beauty extras.” Its as tantalizing as it sounds. Taking a complete 180 turn from their usual au naturel beauty products, Glossier Play is filled with colourful products that will brighten up your “going out” look. We’re particularly fond of Glossier Play’s Glitter Gelée. This multidimensional paillette will add an iridescent, jewelled effect wherever you apply it. You will literally shine bright like a diamond. It comes in four shimmery shades, but we find Phantasm – pictured below – to be the most versatile of them all. Buy now for $17 CAD.

6. Super Bounce

For those who have dryer or rougher skin, Super Bounce should be part of your daily skin routine. This  serum will pack your skin with moisture, thanks to its 2%Hyaluronic Acid Complex, and Pro-Vitamin B5 ingredients. With its silky and smooth texture, Super Bounce is also an excellent makeup primer. You can buy this skin serum for $35 CAD, or as part of ‘The Super Pack’ for $85 CAD (which includes their Super Glow and Super Pure serums too.)
