The unrealistic expectation given to us by Endless Love is simple: people do not always find their way back to each other. After spending two years apart, Jade and David inevitably end up together and live happily ever after. Could it happen? Sure. Just don’t get your hopes up.

A classic love movie that has made us all shed a tear. Noah and Allie fall madly in love and it seems to be a fairy tale, however, they are forced apart due to different class status. So what’s the unrealistic expectation? Noah would move fricken mountains (and build an entire house) to win back Allie. Long distance relationships are hard. They are even harder when your significant other is enlisted in active duty. The unrealistic expectation here is not the long distance, but not only do John and Savannah don’t end up together in the end, Savannah ends up marrying a friend in John’s absence. Que the tears and heartbreak.

We’ve all been there before. Any no strings attached situation can be difficult at times trying not to catch feelings. Usually the feelings emerge and it ruins everything.
