5 Lip Balm Recipes That Will Transform Your Chapped Lips Into Happy Lips

Lip balm is surprisingly easy to make. All it takes are a few ingredients that are extremely easy to find at any bulk store, a little bit of time, and an empty lip balm tube. The best part is that these recipes are made with natural ingredients, so you know exactly what you’re putting on your lips!

1. Classic Peppermint

Mint is the best lip balm flavour ever. Make your own classic peppermint flavour using shea butter, beeswax, coconut oil, and peppermint essential oil!

Ingredients:
-1 tbsp shea butter
-2 tsp beeswax
-2 tsp coconut oil
-a few drops peppermint essential oil (make sure it’s an essential oil that’s safe to consume)

Fill a shallow pan with about an inch and a half of water and bring to a boil.

Toss your shea butter, beeswax, and coconut oil into a heatsafe glass dish. Place the glass dish in the boiling water. The water should not be close to getting in the dish.

Let the ingredients melt, stirring occasionally to help the beeswax melt.

Once melted, remove from heat and let cool slightly. Mix in the peppermint essential oil.

Pour into your lip balm tube or a shallow tin.

Use daily to make your lips smooth and beautiful!
