Law and Order: SVU is one of the most popular crime shows on television today. It tells the story of the Special Victims Unit, a police force specifically dedicated to helping solve sexually-based crimes in New York City. Although the core cast has remained the same, there have been a wide variety of celebrity guest stars that have appeared on the show throughout the nearly 20 years it has been on the air. While the list could go on forever, here are a few of the most famous faces that have graced the set of SVU.
