Drake’s latest hit single ‘Nice For What’, was an immediate smash and beloved by all of us women. Drake is known for providing us with the greatest captions for our IG pics as well as making us feel beautiful and fierce in his lyrics. This latest song of his is no exception. And it’s already being declared as the Summer 18’ anthem for us women.
The video in itself is so incredibly dope. It features some amazingly dope women such as Tracee Ellis Ross, Issa Rae, Yara Shahidi, Zoe Saldana and Olivia Wilde to name a few. The video depicts how we women are bosses with our immense strength, intelligence, beauty and how badass we can be.
The combination of his always creative and fire wordplay mixed with a sick beat that makes you want to be on your boss shit, is a certified win among us ladies! One of his lyrical lines that has already become a favorite among us women and has been used heavily on social media, is when he says
“That’s a real one in your reflection. Without a follow, without a mention”.
As a woman, you honestly cannot listen to this song and not instantly feel empowered and motivated to do what you got to do so you can be what you want to be. I know for me, I play this song just about every morning to get me hype and ready for the day ahead. It’s just one of those songs that you never grow tired of hearing and will most certainly be blasting through your speakers all Summer 18’.
If for some reason you have yet to hear the song, you can check it out below:
