1. Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars

If you want to break off from tradition, these cheesecake bars are a great spin on the old-fashioned recipe for pumpkin pie. Easy to make and layered with pumpkin, cheesecake and a graham cracker crust, these bars will tantalize your palate with the taste of creamy sweetness and autumn spices.

While the recipe does call for a double broiler you can easily make your own using a saucepan and pot with some boiling water. This tasty treat can be made up to 24 hours in advanced and should be stored in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve them. Add a swirl of whipped cream on top to add an elegant touch to your creation.

Also known as candied apples, these treats are typically whole apples dipped in melted caramel then refrigerated until caramel hardens. Candied apples are sticky, tart and all-around tasty treats for any child and the child at heart!

Making this sweet treat is simple. Take an uncut apple, use a popsicle stick, chopstick or a similar item to skewer into the middle of the apple, then dip the apple in melted caramel. You can also garnish the goodie with a variety of toppings such as crushed graham crackers, chocolate, or chopped nuts. Place the caramel-coated apples on a baking sheet covered with wax paper and simply refrigerate them before serving! Simple and delicious!
