10 Good Instagram Captions For Your First Picture After Quarantine

We’re all tired of posting solo pictures on instagram with sad captions because we’ve been stuck inside for WAY too long.  But what happens when we can finally post pictures with our best friends?  What will those captions be like?  Here are 10 good instagram captions to use for your first post once quarantine is over.

1. “Going Out To Eat Never Felt So Good”

This is perfect for your first time out at a restaurant since being stuck in quarantine.  You could post a cute candid with your friends or a posed picture of you and your meal.  The possibilities are pretty much endless.  This caption can work for so many pictures and will go perfectly with your first insta post after quarantine is over.

2. “Finally Reunited”

This caption is great for literally any pic of you and someone you haven’t been able to see since being quarantined.  I can already think of tons of picture ideas for this one.  Keeping your caption short and sweet is always a good idea and this one gives you so many photo options.  A group photo is also an option for this caption.

I mean who wouldn’t want to see a group of close friends reuniting on their instagram feed?  Everyone will be able to feel your relief as you’re finally able to see the people you care about again.

3. “Sweet Freedom”

We’ve all felt a little trapped during this difficult time, so this caption goes with just about any picture you can think of.  It can be a cute selfie of you and some friends, a pretty sunset at the beach, or some candids of you in the city.  I will probably even use this one myself when I can finally go out with my friends again.  Instagram captions can be hard, so this one makes it a little easier to post that new pic.

4. “Onto Better Days”

We all want to move on from this horrible time and get to a better place.  Once quarantine is over the only way we can go is forward.  This caption can be whatever you want it to be.  You can post just about anything with this caption because everyone is feeling the same way and will truly understand what it means.

This virus is something that we want to move on from and get to having better days.  It’s something that will hopefully help us rather than hurt us in the future.  You can use this caption as a message that you made it past this hard time and are looking forward to getting back to the way things used to be.

5. “Finally Left The House”

This one is more on the comedic side and would go perfectly with a picture of you and some friends or even a cute selfie of you in a public place.  Everyone has been feeling a little trapped inside their homes so I feel like this is very relatable.  I can already imagine the candids that would go amazing with this caption.

Even having a little picnic with your friends could be the ideal opportunity for a nice picture to go with this caption.  Instagram captions don’t always have to be witty and cute, they can be simple and still be good.

6. “I Almost Forgot How To Dress Up”

This caption can be used for just about any picture that you feel a little glammed up in.  I think it would go perfect with a picture of you and your friends all dressed up.  Any picture that makes you feel good and is a tin bit fancy.  I can’t wait to get all glammed up with my friends and go out for the night.  It’s probably the only thing that has gotten me through these past few months.

7. “I Forgot What I Looked Like Without A Mask On”

Another light hearted and comical caption for maybe a selfie or solo candid.  This one can match any picture and is extremely relatable.  I feel like having to wear a mask everywhere has given us an unwanted shield to those around us and it’s always good to keep serious things somewhat light hearted.  It keeps everything from feeling TOO overwhelming and scary.

8. “Quarantine Who?”

I know this will be a very popular caption just because I know we all want to say goodbye to being stuck in our homes.  Being able to go out with friends and travel places will make us want to just forget about even being quarantined at all.  This caption can literally go with any picture and I’m sure you’ll see a good amount of this same caption while scrolling on your feed.

It may not be SUPER original, but it is relatable and true.  We want to leave quarantining in the past, which is absolutely fine by me!

9. “This Too Shall Pass”

This caption isn’t directly based on quarantine or the Corona virus, but it relates to it greatly.  We all want to get back to the way the world was before, and even move onto better things.  This caption can be added to a picture you took while in quarantine or a picture of something that had to do with quarantining or the virus.

I think that this caption has a deeper meaning other than just hoping that the virus becomes contained and stops spreading.  I think that the world needs to get past this uncertain time one step at a time and this caption gives those who read it some hope for the future.  The tragedy and sadness this virus has brought the world will somehow pass and something better will take its place.  Like I said, Instagram captions don’t always have to be witty or cute.

10. “Let’s Travel”

The only thing I’ve been wanting to do since being quarantined is travel.  And being unable to do exactly that has been difficult.  I think this caption would go great with a picture at the airport or a packed car that is ready for a road trip with your best friends.
