A Foodie Takes On New York City: Twist and Smash’d

Hello little foodies! I’m back this week with a new place you just have to check out. Known for their twisted potatoes, Twist and Smash’d definitely delivers a twist on many of their signature dishes.

While traveling to Ecuador on a family vacation in 2010, this father and daughter team created the idea for their restaurant after seeing the idea of a potato on a stick and wanted to bring the idea back to New York.

Along with the potatoes, they have a generous selection of Smash’d burgers that pair perfectly together and even a great breakfast menu for those breakfast lovers out there, as well as a late night menu for those night owls!

They are located at 72-06 Austin Street in Forest Hills, New York. Add this place to your GPS ASAP and take a trip over!

Also, for those sports lovers out there, you have to check out Twist and Smash’d located at 34-02 Steinway St in Queens, New York. They house a wrap around bar where guests are welcomed to watch that night’s games on any of their 54 TVs.

What’s really cool and original about this place is that they offer games for the guests to partake in. This includes bocce and beer pong, and they even host cornhole tournaments!
