Food Ideas For A Barbecue Party This Summer

What is summer without a barbecue?! Not only is a barbecue party great for gathering all of your friends and family, but it’s also a good excuse to eat all of the delicious foods that a grill can cook! Start your summer the most tasty way possible by having these items at your next barbecue party!

1. Cheddar Bacon Ranch Corn

Corn on the cob is an absolute must at a barbecue, but a fancied up cheddar bacon ranch corn at a barbecue is a definite win. Just grill your corn on the cob the usual way on the grill, then add butter, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning packets, bacon, chives, and ranch dressing to top it off! Is your mouth watering yet?

2. Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs

You can never get enough meat at a barbecue! Bacon wrapped hot dogs are a huge favorite amongst young and old fellas! Do it right this summer by serving these delicious links!

3. Cheese Stuffed Burgers

Cheeseburgers are another favorite at barbecues, but topping burgers with cheese can make a huge mess on your grill and that’s the last thing you want! Stuff your burger patties with cheese cubes so that you can grill the meat without a gooey mess. This way, you can cook other meats easily, and your guests will have more delicious cheese with their burger!

4. Tomato Bun Sliders

There are so many people these days who are on the keto diet, and can’t have a certain amount of carbs. Let your guests know that you’re keto friendly by serving tomato bun sliders! Just make a traditional burger with or without cheese but instead of using hamburger buns, use a sliced tomato instead!

5. Pesto Shrimp Skewers

Barbecue doesn’t always mean grilling beef, pork, and chicken. Shrimp is delicious cooked on the grill as well! For these phenomenal pesto shrimp skewers, all you’re going to need to do is put some shrimp on skewers, Rub some olive oil on them, sprinkle salt and pepper, sprinkle some lemon juice, and marinate them with pesto!

6. Pickle Dogs

No bun? No problem! Using pickles as buns is a flavor-packed experience that you need to try this summer! Just slice a big cucumber in half as you would a hot dog bun, add your sausage and top with ketchup, mustard, onions, and more!

7. Greek Salad Skewers

With all of the fat and oily meats and cheeses, you need some freshness to keep your taste buds going! These Greek salad skewers are perfect for cleansing your palate so you can enjoy more barbecue goods. Just get some small skewers and put together one cherry tomato, a cucumber slice, an olive, and a mozzarella ball or feta cube!

8. Cedar-Planked Salmon

Salmon on the grill is a scrumptious dish that you cannot miss! All you need is a 12 and 1/2 pounds salmon fillet and marinate the fish with 2 tbsp of brown sugar, 2 tsp of smoked paprika, 1 tsp of grated lemon zest, salt, and freshly ground pepper! Grill your salmon fillet to charred perfection and serve with rice!

This baked good favorite is also freaking amazing on the grill! It’s so good, you’ll be licking your fingers and begging for more! Make your favorite cornbread recipe and add honey, butter, chives, and peppers! Grill until you see grill marks, and enjoy!

10. Pork Tenderloin with Peach Barbecue Sauce

This is the perfect combination of salty and sweet! Pork tenderloin is not the first choice of meat you would think of for grilling, but it sure as hell works! First, you need to start by making the peach barbecue marinade! First you’ll need 4 ripe peaches that are peeled and chopped. Then you will cook them in a pan with 1 chopped garlic clove, 1/2 cup of diced onions, 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp of chili powder, 1 tbsp of honey. Slather this sauce on a pound of pork tenderloin and put it on the grill!
