15 Father’s Day Breakfast Recipes For The Guy Who Makes The Bacon And Eggs

With Father’s Day right around the corner, you’re probably looking for delicious breakfast recipes to cook him, right? Well, start his day off right by making him one of these Father’s Day breakfast recipes! Not only will he feel special, but he’ll be coming back for seconds!

1. American Breakfast Plate

This list of Father’s Day breakfast recipes, wouldn’t be complete without the classic American breakfast, meaning eggs, bacon, and pancakes! It’s up to you if you want to make your eggs sunny-side-up or scrambled (you know your Dad best)! If you want to make your pancakes a little extra special, consider cutting up some strawberries and bananas to put on top. Oh, and don’t forget the whipped cream!

2. Steak and Eggs

Steak and eggs is the perfect breakfast if your Dad is a meat-lover! Make sure to use lots of seasoning when you rub the steak. Wait to make the eggs until your steak is close to done. Also, this dish tastes best with a side of hash browns or roasted potatoes.

3. Belgian Waffles & Bacon

Who doesn’t love a good Belgian waffle? You can’t go wrong with this breakfast! Make your Dad a couple waffles, then top them off with some fresh raspberries and sugared powder! Since we know your Dad needs some protein, consider cooking up bacon or sausage to go along with it.

4. Breakfast Pizza

This Father’s Day breakfast recipe isn’t what you’d normally see on a menu, but it’s freakin’ delicious and super easy to make! Simply roll out your pizza dough, and then add your toppings! I recommend cooking the eggs until they are soft scrambled (don’t worry, they’ll finish cooking while you bake the pizza). Start with the eggs as a base, then add your meat toppings. Feel free to use ham, bacon bits, sausage links, or even all three! Finally, top with cheese and bake!

5. California Omelet

The California omelet is equally nutritious as it is delicious! But what makes this omelet the “California” omelet, is the avocado! So sprinkle in some bacon, bell peppers, mushrooms, but whatever you do, don’t forget the avocado! Consider serving with a side of salsa verde, for that final touch!

6. French Toast Medley

French toast is a staple Father’s Day breakfast. You can get creative with it and cut the toast up into strips. Serve the french toast strips with a bowl of syrup to dip! Or, just make regular french toast, but add some fresh fruit on top. As a side, serve with hash browns, bacon, and eggs!

7. Ham Scramble

The main meat source here is ham! So cook up some ham and serve with eggs, either scrambled or sunny-side-up. I recommend cooking the eggs sunny-side-up, and adding some seasoned potatoes!

8. Breakfast Burrito

A breakfast burrito is probably one of the most delicious meals you can make for your Dad! Simply cook your tortillas and then add your fillings! What typically goes in a breakfast burrito are hash browns, eggs, sausage, bacon, and sour cream. However, consider adding beans, avocado, and pico de gallo to really hit this one out of the park! Your Dad will be grinning from ear to ear!

9. Eggs Benedict

Eggs Benedict is a super tasty breakfast you can make for your Dad! Start off with a toasted English Muffin, and then add a layer of bacon. Finally, top it all off with a poached egg and the traditional hollandaise sauce! You can buy the hollandaise sauce in a packet, or (and I strongly recommend) you can make it yourself! All you need is heavy cream, lime juice, egg yolks, butter, and then salt and pepper for taste.

10. Croissant Breakfast Sandwich

Who can resist a croissant? Out of all the Father’s Day breakfast recipes, this one might be one of the easiest to make. Simply buy some croissants from your local bakery, and then put them in the toaster. While that’s baking, you can whip up some scrambled eggs and bacon, to go inside your sandwich. Once you have your eggs and bacon inside, top it all off with some melted cheese! Serve with orange juice or a hot cup of joe!

Start off by making your pancakes as usual and then add in some chocolate chips once you have the batter ready. Also, when you’re buying your chocolate chips, make sure to get the semi-sweet chocolate morsels (they taste way better and aren’t as sugary). You can serve this breakfast with sausage or bacon, it’s your choice.

12. Huevos Rancheros

I’ll be the first one to say that Huevos Rancheros tastes best served with a big fat Margarita! Huevos Rancheros is typically made with fresh corn tortillas, eggs, beans, pico de gallo, salsa, avocado, and your favorite cheese. This meal is perfect for any Dad, especially if he is a vegetarian!

Biscuits and gravy is delicious comfort food and one of the easiest Father’s Day breakfast recipes to make! All you need are buttermilk biscuits, sausage crumbles, and then some flour and milk! Once the biscuits are done, cut them in half and drizzle your sauce on top!
