So the weather is changing from fall to winter but you totally did not prepare any winter outfits! Instead of going out and shopping for a whole new wardrobe why not look at your fall clothes. There are certainly some fashion trends from fall that are still going to work for the upcoming winter. It’s all about how you use them and what you pair them with.

Berets are such a chic and classy accessory that really can just tie your whole outfit together. I like this as one of the fashion trends right now because it’s something every girl can wear and look amazing in. Berets are more for style in the fall but they can be stylish and functional in the winter! They serve the purpose a hat should which is to keep your head warm while also being able to match with almost any outfit to create a new look every time. Berets come in so many shapes and colors and you can even get specially customized berets so your outfits will never be without an accessory.

So you got some spooky-themed stockings for Halloween but now you think you can’t wear them again till next year. Well, guess what, you can totally use them for the winter! You can use the spider print stockings underneath some ripped jeans for a cool design underneath. No one will be able to tell they were from fall and everyone will just think those are some adorable cat stockings.

When I wear sweater dresses in the fall it is mainly to keep me cozy during sweater weather. For the wintertime, I use my sweater dress among other layers. I wear a coat or vest overtop my dress and some thick stocking underneath to keep my legs warm. Sweater dresses are great for the winter because they are just an easy outfit to put together and you’ll look cute regardless of which dress you pick!

This is one of those fashion trends that I think everyone wants to do. These are my absolute favorite to wear in the fall time because they go so well with skirts or over some skinny jeans. For the winter you wanna wear these with your sweater dress or your mini skirts. They are just so classy to put together with any outfit and if you get the right boot it’s super comfortable to wear throughout the day.

Getting a matching set of a sweater and skirt is not only going to make your outfit choosing easier but also give you the opportunity for multiple looks. One way to wear this look is by wearing the sweater over the skirt. This is going to give your body the illusion of being longer and taller than it actually is. The other way is to tuck the shirt into the skirt and just tug it out a little big for a puffy look all around. The final look is to do the famous french tuck by only tucking in the front of your shirt and leave the back out loose. You can even mix and match the combo you have with other clothes so the choices are endless.

This style was popularized by the Korean street style and is now used as one of the new fashion trends. It’s a great way to give you the illusion of a petite body. Oversized cardigans are one of the best fashion trends at the moment because they are perfect for almost any weather depending on how you wear them. You can wear an oversized cardigan with a pair of your favorite leggings and a graphic tee shirt. For when the weather is colder wear the oversized cardigan with a turtle neck and dress pants. This is also a great look for when you need to look business casual.

Short Booties

A fall staple is the heeled boots that you wear with every fall outfit. This is one of the fashion trends that I really like. Use your boots in the winter! Pair them with some thermal leggings, a flannel top, and your winter coat. If you’re worried about slipping in the snow while wearing them then I recommend wearing them on a day that doesn’t have much snow or ice. If you are looking for something a little different get brown boots with a little fringe.

Fuzzy Vest

During the fall you would probably wear this on top of your tee shirt and some jeans. For the wintertime reuse your fuzzy vest for a cute wintertime outfit! This is one of the winter fashion trends that is pretty useful since it won’t be too hard to pair your fuzzy vest with a winter look. For the winter wear your fuzzy vest over a plain turtleneck sweater tucked into some skinny jeans. Accessorize with a black belt and black knee-high boots.

Another staple in many girls’ wardrobes is the denim jacket with a hoodie attached. It’s just a really easy piece to match and pair with anything. This is used for days that aren’t as cold because it doesn’t provide the thickest protection but can definitely be used for a casual or lazy day.
