With the beautiful season of Fall fast approaching and Summer fading away, it’s time to look for what you and your friends can go out and do! There are so many fun activities you can participate in, but here are the 10 fall outings you’ll want to try out with your friends!
This is usually not the top of the fall to-do list for people, but it is such a rich experience for everyone involved, it had to be number one. Road trips allow you to see the beauty of your environment, as all the leaves will be falling during this time. Bonding with your friends will make your relationship better and also allow you all to do many more things!
Building off of the road trip idea, you guys can go camping! The great outdoors is undoubtedly the best during the fall. It’s not too hot, and definitely not too cold, just perfect. You can have fun with the fallen leaves or just enjoy the amazing scenery.
Apple picking is one of the most popular things anyone can do during the fall. You and your friends will enjoy the experience thoroughly, and I cannot recommend you do this enough.
Many apple picking farms have wide varieties of apples, so you’ll find one for yourself no matter your taste. There are usually corn mazes and other activities you can do at the apple picking farms, so you can easily spend an entire day there!
One of the staple fall outings are the fall festivals. Oktoberfest is the most popular one out there, and it is an experience like no other. You gather with thousands of other people to enjoy the beauty of the season, amazing food, many activities and games (like horse riding, eating contests, races, etc), and just fun for you and your friends all around.
The weather is perfect to do this, as it’s both warm and cool. Scavenger hunts are a very fun activity to do with your friends, especially when the prize is something worth your while. You’ll all enjoy it and can make the person farthest from the treasure when it’s found to buy everyone meals or something along those lines.
Going for a hike with your friends is a great activity. The view you get throughout the hiking trip is unparalleled, and you get to explore places you might have never done before. It’s also a great workout, and overall just fun as anything to hike.
Going to a Halloween party with your friends is an almost mandatory fall outing. You all dress up in your costumes, go out, drink, and just party! They run quite often during the fall, so you can go to several of these parties before the actual date of Halloween!
If you and your friends are up for an exhilarating and potentially frightening experience, go to a haunted house! Even better, you all can make a bet on who can make it out of the house without freaking out (and other different bet ideas). The possibilities are endless, and you’re all bound to have a great time!
Watching a football game with your friends during the fall, even though it may be for college, is one of the most exciting experiences you can have. All of you cheering on your team, having a few drinks, and just being happy as you enjoy the beautiful weather is such a pleasant and joyful experience.
Similar to the haunted house, do this if you and your friends are adventurous (as horror movies aren’t for everyone). You all can discuss the movie after it’s over and can grab some food on the way back home. This is a perfect way to encompass the season of fall in all its glory.
