Fall Dessert Bars You’re Going To Be Obsessed With

Fall is one of the best seasons. The beauty of red, gold and orange leaves. Halloween and Thanksgiving holidays. Pumpkin carving, candy, and cute light clothing. And we’re getting ever closer there. But what really makes fall the best is the food, especially the sweet stuff! Here are fall dessert bars you’re going to be obsessed with.

Nutella S’mores Dessert Bars

Sitting by the warm fire of an evening toasting marshmallows is a very classic fall activity. Nutella is possible the best food invention ever and I love it in any dessert. A gooey and delicious bar with no campfire needed.

Before you start, preheat your oven to 350F. Throw 9 graham crackers into a food processor and grind until well ground. You don’t want any lumps! Mix with 1 cup of flour, half a teaspoon of salt, 2 sticks of butter, 2/3 cup of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and mix until light, fluffy and combined.

This is now your dough and you will need to spread it evenly across a greased baking pan. Afterward, spread Nutella over the top and then marshmallow fluff. Bake for around thirty-five minutes (keep checking) until golden and puffed up a bit.

Pumpkin Pie Dessert Bars

Pumpkin is the ultimate taste of fall and it wouldn’t be right to do this list without it. The incredible flavour of a classic pumpkin pie, but without the crust and in a convenient bar.

Preheat the oven to a high 425F. In a mixing bowl combine 1 and a half cups of flour, 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of butter cubes. This for the shortbread crust. Press crust into a prepared baking dish in an even layer and set aside for now.

In another mixing bowl add 29 oz of pumpkin puree, 4 eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice and 2 cups of sugar. Whisk or beat together then add 2 can of evaporated milk and stir until well combined. Pour the mixture of the crust and bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 350 and continue for another 50 minutes.

Salted Caramel Buttery Crumb Dessert Bars

Really quick, easy and scrumptious to make. Salted caramel is always a good choice. The crumble aspect makes it great as a fall treat.

As always preheat your oven to 325F. In a bowl combine 2 sticks of butter and 1 cup of sugar and mix/beat until well combined and fluffy. This usually takes around three minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and 2 cups of flour and continue to beat for one minute.

Put one-third of the mixture into a prepared baking dish and bake for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, refrigerate the remaining mixture. Afterward, remove and pour salted caramel sauce over the crust. Crumble the leftover dough on top and return to the oven for twenty-five to thirty minutes. Drizzle with salted caramel again and enjoy!

Cinnamon Blondie Dessert Bars

Cinnamon is another classic fall taste for me. And if you haven’t heard of a blondie, well it’s a brownie but with white chocolate instead! Soft, yummy with a kick of spice.

Preheat the oven to 350F. In a bowl mix 1 and 3/4 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of baking powder and 1/4 of baking soda.

In a medium-sized saucepan add 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of butter. Cook over a medium heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and cool for approximately 10 minutes. Add 2 eggs and vanilla. Stir to combine. Stir in the flour mixture and spread in prepared baking dish. Bake for 25 to 3o minutes.

Well, we’re certainly hungry now and wishing fall would just hurry up.
