Shalom park is one of Ocala’s hidden treasures. Its open space of grass and flowers has an extremely relaxing vibe and can be a perfect spot for a picnic.

If you love the outdoors or merely just enjoy thrilling experiences then going to Santos can be a great opportunity for overcoming challenges and bonding with someone. If you’re looking for a playful date try out Skyzone. Skyzone is an up-and-coming business and is suitable for anyone willing to try! It may not be the most glamorous date ideas in Ocala but at least you will have a great time.

4. Ride Horses

Pretty much the only thing anyone can say when they say they are from Ocala is that it is the horse capital of the world. May as well take advantage of this title and take your date on a horse back riding tour.

5. Stargazing at Brick City Park

Ah yes, the most stereotypical date in the book. However, it is only the biggest teenage movie go-to date because it is actually really nice and romantic. There aren’t many parks open at night with a clear view of the sky but this park shall do.

6. Painting with a Twist

Ever wanted to be an artist but lack quite possibly every skill it takes to be an artist? Well, Painting with a Twist is a cute new experience to try with your date and all the artwork turns out pretty well! It can be a fun and playful way to make a memory and you will always have a reminder with the painting you take home!

One of Ocala’s best treasures is their wide selection of springs nearby. This is a great chance to show off your hot bod.

As long as you don’t attend on the days of homecoming or prom, this is such a cool place to go. Many people enjoy this museum for its beauty on the outside but there is a vast array of art and history inside.

9. Go to the Ocala Civic Theatre

Forget your movie plans, go see a show in person. The Ocala Civic Theatre offers many shows for many different interests.

10.  First Watch Café

Sometimes a nice dinner can be a lot of pressure. To change it up, go to breakfast at First Watch which is a nice and tasty alternative.
