9 Comforting Meals For Chilly Nights

We all deserve to indulge every once in a while, especially with chilly fall months quickly approaching. Yay for pumpkin spice lattes and cozy sweater weather! I’ve put together nine comforting meals that will satisfy all your fall cravings. Let’s get started!

1. Garlic Parmesan Risotto

This creamy, delicious risotto recipe is to die for. Nothing like a hot bowl of Italian rice to chow down on while cuddling up by the fire. If you aren’t a risotto fan or have never tried it before, give this recipe a try. It’s so good I promise! Risotto is such an underrated dish.

2. Chicken Marsala

Mmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about this one. This tasty chicken marsala recipe is both classy and comforting. I can imagine eating this with my boyfriend while sipping on a glass of white wine. There’s nothing like juicy garlic chicken, mushrooms and herbs. Yum!

3. Grilled Cheese

Who doesn’t love a good grilled cheese? I don’t know about you, but cheesy, carb-filled deliciousness is my middle name. Plus, you can customize your grilled cheese any way you like! Add bacon, avocado, grilled onions, or tomatoes. You can’t really go wrong. Dip your grilled cheese in creamy tomato basil soup if you are feeling extra fancy. Yum!

4. Chicken Broccoli Cheese Casserole

This cheesy chicken broccoli casserole is something your grandma would whip up at Thanksgiving. But why wait for Thanksgiving when you can just make it yourself? We love an independent cooking queen! There’s something about the combo of noodles, cheese and broccoli that makes my tummy rumble. Anyways, give this recipe a go! You won’t regret it.

5. Savory Street Tacos

This one goes out to all my taco lovers out there, I know you’re there! These savory street tacos are a comfort-food lovers dream. With pulled pork or chicken, creamy guacamole, pico de gallo all wrapped in a corn tortilla, you won’t know what hit you. Great, now I’m craving Mexican food.

6. Shrimp Fettucine

This shrimp fettucine recipe is perfect for those chilly fall nights when all you want to do is curl up on the couch and watch Netflix. I love pasta with a nice protein for extra substance. This pasta has fresh grilled shrimp and flavorful herbs and seasoning. You can choose to cook your pasta in butter or olive oil, it’s up to you. You do you boo!

9. Comforting Meals: Mac and Cheese

Macaroni and cheese is such a classic childhood favorite. If your grandma or mom didn’t make you some bomb mac and cheese, this is your chance to make it yourself!
