Celebrity Owned Makeup Brands To Try If You Haven’t

Remember when Kylie Cosmetics first came out? I was so excited about all her lip shades, and clearly everyone else was because they always seemed to sell out so fast. Now, we can find Kylie Cosmetics at Ulta and grab ourselves “Candy K” liquid lipstick whenever we want to. Celebrity owned makeup brands always seem to be somewhat affordable, and make their way to stores like Ulta, which makes it way easier to discover new brands. Here’s some celebrity owned makeup brands to try now if you haven’t already!

1. Flower Beauty

Founded by actress, Drew Barrymore, Flower Beauty has everything to offer that high-end, luxury makeup does – just without the price tag of $40+ foundation. Not only did Drew Barrymore give us Charlie’s Angels and the best rom-coms, she also started her own home line, eyewear, and beauty line all part of Flower by Drew. Flower Beauty can be found online on their website or Walmart, or at Ulta. Barrymore’s vegan makeup line consists of products for your eyes, lips, and face – and, also offers makeup brushes and tools, as well as their own Flower Beauty fragrances. Now that we know Flower Beauty offers all the products needed for what ever makeup routine we do, it also is great to know that everything is sold at a lower price point than most makeup founded by celebrities or high-end brands. One product, the “Beauty Flash Full Face Palette” is $16 dollars and comes with 2 blushes, bronzer, highlighter and 3 eyeshadows, which is a super good deal for all the types of makeup you get in one product. Other makeup products like foundation are $14, and setting spray is $11. Also, Flower Beauty offers an amazing product “Heatwave Bronzing Essence” ($16), which is a bottle full of golden, drops to add a natural glow to your skin. You can add it to your everyday foundation or wear it alone to add a sun kissed look to your face. Flower Beauty is definitely in my top favorite for new makeup, and celebrity owned makeup brands.

2. Florence By Mills

Another makeup brand that can be found at Ulta is Florence by Mills. You know of Millie Bobbie Brown from Stranger Things, but she also now has a makeup and skincare line that is super affordable, as well as vegan and cruelty free. On the website, Florence by Mills, you can take a beauty quiz to find out which products would be best for your skin type and concern – sound familiar? Just like you can take a test on Ulta, or Sephora. Or, you can even try a skincare starter set for $22, which consists of a cleanser, moisturizer and daily face mist – all for just over twenty dollars. You can find a few other options for product bundles as well, depending on if you’re looking at just makeup, skincare, or both. Florence by Mills beauty has makeup products for your eyes, lips, face and also body glitter and highlight dust. Also, if you like to wear blush or highlighter by itself and don’t want to do a full face of makeup, their cream based products of highlighter and blush can give you an easily applicable pop of color and shimmer! Using cream blush and highlighter instead of a powder based makeup product can make for a softer look for your everyday makeup routine, even when you put on foundation or concealer too.

3. Haus Labs

Another makeup brand that can give us all the glam we want is Haus Laboratories founded by the greatest ever – Lady Gaga. Gaga has always inspired fans to be themselves, and Haus Labs’ makeup lets us do the same with what ever makeup routine and products we want! Like Flower Beauty and Florence, Haus Laboratories is also vegan and cruelty free. As if we couldn’t love celebrity owned makeup brands even more, especially one created by Lady Gaga, this makeup line sells quality products for your eyes and lips. The products from this brand are vibrant and versatile with each makeup look, such as “Le Riot Lip Gloss” available in 9 shades, $18, and highly rated. With lots of products to choose from, Haus Labs is one brand you should definitely check out if you haven’t already.

4. Honest Beauty

If you haven’t started using Honest Beauty yet, you should. Founded by Jessica Alba, Honest Beauty has everything we could ask for when it comes to one beauty and skincare line. There is much more to Honest Beauty than just natural makeup, but this is one of the best celebrity owned makeup brands I’ve found. It’s all natural, clean and tested by dermatologists. Honest Beauty products can be found at Walgreens, Target, online. For a brand that uses ingredients derived from plants and ingredients to keep our skin healthy and glowing, you really cannot go wrong with these reasonably priced makeup products. One makeup product I always love for this time of year is tinted moisturizer. Honest Beauty created their “Clean Tinted Moisturizer” that is $21.99 and available in four shades. While you definitely could find a tinted moisturizer that is on the cheaper side, you probably would not be getting all the benefits of what is inside this tinted moisturizer. It has SPF 30 in it, blue light defense and Vitamin C. If you’re looking for products for your eyes and lips, you can also create your own set of a matte lip shade and a mascara. So, this is a brand that offers much more than just beauty, but if you’re looking to try a new makeup line then Honest Beauty is the way to go. You can be sure to get your summer glow on by trying out Flower Beauty, Florence by Mills, Haus Labs or Honest Beauty.
