10 Celebrity Hairstyles You Need to Recreate

Celebrity hairstyles are always on point and make for perfect inspiration no matter what kind of hair you have! Do you ever sit in front of the mirror trying to figure out what to do with your hair? Do you end up wasting so much time trying to come up with a hairstyle that you end up leaving the house with your hair in your every day look? We’re here to help! We’ve gathered all the celebrity inspiration you need to create the perfect look.

1. Ashley Benson – Long and Sleek

The last time we saw Ashley Benson she was rocking a short, blonde bob. With the help of a few hair extensions, she switched it up to this long, sleek look. This hairstyle is perfect for any occasion whether it’s a casual night out or a fancy date night. This look is completely versatile and super easy to recreate. All you need is a blowdryer, flat iron, and some shine spray. You can even recreate this look with short hair. Just blow dry your hair straight, run it over with a flat iron and boom! A sleek, shiny, perfect hairstyle that you can wear to any occasion. If you want to mix up your look, switch your part or throw in some extensions! There’s so much you can do with a look like this.

2. Jennifer Lopez – Half Up Half Down

This is one of my favorite hairstyles to wear every day. There’s so much you can do with a half-up half-down look like this. You can leave your hair natural and let the waves or curls flow, you can blow it out and give it more of a sleek look, or you can straighten it and have a more professional look. You can wear this hairstyle to pretty much anything, no matter what the occasion. You can make it what you want! JLo is sporting a sleek version of this look that features hair wrapped around the hair-tie holding her hair up, another fan favorite when it comes to this look. That adds just a little extra something that pulls the whole look together.

3. Kendall Jenner – Top Knot

Ah yes, the top knot. Some people, like Kendall Jenner, make it look so easy. Messy, but cute. Effortless, but one of the most difficult looks to achieve. Why can I only get a top knot to work one out of every ten times I try? Why do I look more like a goblin than someone who effortlessly threw their waves into a top knot? The world may never know. However, if you can get this incredibly trendy hairstyle to work the way Kendall does, it’s perfect for any occasion. Casual, cute, and super simple (so they say). May the odds be in your favor.

4. Selena Gomez – Loose Braid

Braids are one of the more complicated hairstyles to recreate if you don’t know how to braid hair; however, if you do, they are so versatile and super easy to recreate. Selena Gomez is always sporting great celebrity hairstyles, but here she is rocking a loose side braid for what seems like a more casual occasion. However, you can also dress up a braid. If you don’t know how to braid, there are tons of videos on YouTube that can teach you! Get to learning because braids are an absolute must-have!

5. Vanessa Hudgens – Crazy Curls

Vanessa Hudgens is a woman of many hairstyles and this one is one of the easiest to achieve. For people with naturally curly hair, throw some shine spray or anti-frizz in it and be on your way. You can also use gel or mousse if you want to give it a little extra hold. For those of you with naturally straight hair, you can achieve this look with a wand or curling iron. Taking small pieces of hair and curling them will give you the same look!

6. Blake Lively – Hollywood Curls

Blake Lively is a queen on so many levels, especially hairstyles. Even when her hair isn’t done, it looks amazing. This hairstyle is elegant and classic, perfect for a date night. Recreating this look is super simple as long as you have a curling iron. The trick is to curl larger pieces of hair to get the Hollywood glam look. You could even add a barrette to pull your hair out of your face and spice it up!

7. Jennifer Lawrence – Simple Bun

This simple low bun is the perfect hairstyle for any occasion. You can dress it up or down and it still looks great. This hairstyle is also really easy to recreate, especially if you need something last minute (AKA, you didn’t have time to wash your hair). Throw your hair in a low bun, pull some strands into your face and you’re good to go!

8. Kylie Jenner – Loose Waves

As far as celebrity hairstyles go, these super simple loose waves are iconic but are actually one of the more difficult looks to achieve. Loose, beachy waves never quite come out as perfect as they look on celebrities, but hey, that doesn’t mean we don’t try! Use your wand, your flat iron, blowdryer, anything you have to curl your hair. Then essentially, mess it all up with a brush or your fingers and hope that you end up with perfect, loose, beachy waves. Best of luck!

9. Vanessa Hudgens – Sleek High Pony

I know I already used Vanessa Hudgens, but come on! She always has the best celebrity hairstyles ever! There’s something so glamorous about a sleek, high ponytail. You can dress it up, like in the picture above. Or you can dress it down and go for a cute, casual look. High ponytails are also pretty simple and work for all hair types. You can leave your hair straight, curly or wavy and a high pony will look amazing for any occasion!

10. Lucy Hale – Braided Bun

This braid flowing into a bun is such an underrated look! This is another versatile look good for any time of the day. You can also change this up and do a braid into a ponytail or high bun. You can have straight or curly hair. You can even just do a braid and leave your hair down. There are so many looks you can come up with based on recreating this hairstyle!

How could you resist not trying to recreate these simple, yet versatile celebrity hairstyles? Whether you need an idea for a casual Sunday Funday or a more glamorous look for a date night, these celebrities have got you covered! Let us know which look you’ll be styling next in the comments below!
