10 Reasons To Love Fall At Guelph

Fall is slowly approaching and when going off to school, there are tons of things to look forward to when you are on campus for the fall semester. Keep reading for ten reasons to love fall at Guelph!

1. Fall clothes.

With the fall season, there are many possible combinations of clothes to wear on campus. Whether it is long, thin sweatshirts or even leggings with fall boots. Either way, fall is one of the most stylish seasons because of the cool weather. On a campus such as Guelph, there are always different styles being displayed for everyone to see.

 


 

2. Walking through the Arboretum.

During all the seasons the Arboretum is always available to walk through. During the fall the beautiful leaves create a beautiful scene for all the people walking through it. It’s also a nice place to get away for when you need time away from the books and just want to relax for a while.

3. Three locations for fall drinks.

There are numerous drinks that Starbucks offers during the fall season at Guelph such as the pumpkin spiced Lattes, caramel Apple Spice, and the classic Chai Tea Latte. At the University of Guelph, there are 3 Starbucks locations on campus which are the Lennox residence, the University Centre and the library. Whenever you are in the need for something warm and delicious, Starbucks is the place to go.

 

4. Halloween.

Halloween on campus is always a fun time, wherever you look there is usually always a party to go to. You can always dress up as well and plan a party with your friends.

5. Thanksgiving.

During the first semester at Guelph, the holiday we celebrate is Thanksgiving. It’s a time where we get to go home to spend time with our families and it gives us some time off.

 

6. The season itself.

The fall weather is usually always great. It’s a mix of warm and cold weather, you will be able to stay outside and still feel comfortable. There is always a light breeze exploring the campus, while the leaves on the trees are changing colour. The look of fall is always a beautiful sight to look at. If you want to stay outside and study you are able to without freezing because of how warm the season is.

 

7. Homecoming at Guelph.

During the months of September and October, its homecoming season which means none other than football season. The Guelph Gryphons are always a fun thing to watch during the fall season.

8. The Bullring.

During the colder part of fall, you can always grab a bite to eat or even a cup of tea or coffee at the bullring. The Bullring is a cool place to hang out with your friends, you can study there and watch live performances on Wednesdays.

 

9. Johnston Green is even more beautiful.

In the fall, Johnston Green is the place to hang out with friends. This is where you can have picnics and have little events. Johnston Green is a beautiful place in the fall especially with the beautiful leaves and sun.

 


 

10. It is close to Christmas Break.

Although fall at Guelph is a beautiful scene to look at there are moments when the weather can be cold. With the cold weather it means that winter is around the corner. This means Christmas holidays are near meaning you get a break, and who doesn’t love a break.
