10 Best Restaurants In Nashville

When traveling to Nashville, the home of country music, there is so much to do, so much to see, and so many restaurants to go to! I can promise that not only will you have a great time in Nashville, but you will also eat so well. And let me tell you one thing — The food is AMAZING! If you are hungry at any point during your trip, you are definitely doing something wrong. Here are the 10 best restaurants you have to try in Nashville!

1. Biscuit Love

Wake up early and head down to the Gulch for some Biscuit Love! You want to plan to get there early because no matter the day or time, you will have to wait. My favorite is the SEC biscuit with a glass of orange juice. No matter what you get, make sure you order a side of the bonuts to share. Once you get your meal, be sure to get a few pictures around the restaurant because it is so cute! After your meal, walk over and get a picture at the Nashville wings! Also, keep an eye out for the flower truck and grab some fresh flowers if you see it!

2. Loveless Cafe

This is another cute little spot that serves some of the best biscuits and breakfast out there! They serve you 100% home cooked meals, and each meal includes one of their famous biscuits (yummy!). I suggest ordering breakfast because it is so good, but you can also head on over for dinner too. You will want to get here early because it tends to get crowded, but again, totally worth the wait. Be sure to check out their store once you finish eating and maybe bring home some goodies for the family!

3. Pancake Pantry

Of all the breakfast spots in Nashville, you HAVE to come here. Make this your number 1 priority! Again, this restaurant is always busy so you have to get here very early to avoid the breakfast/brunch crowds. Check out the menu while you are waiting in line so that you can order as soon as you get in. My favorites are either the sweet potato pancakes or the banana cream pancakes, but you honestly can’t go wrong here. Try one of everything if you can!

4. Burger Republic

If you LOVE a good burger like me, this is the spot for you! This place is like heaven on earth for all of us burger lovers out there. I was honestly so overwhelmed by the menu when I came here because everything sounded so good. I suggest getting the Burger Republic Burger or the Tennessee Burger with some house fried chips or french fries. Be sure to take a look at their drink menu and treat yourself with a milkshake (or a spiked shake if you’re over 21)!

5. The Pharmacy

This is my second favorite burger spot in Nashville. When you get here, ask to eat outside so that you can enjoy your meal out back on the patio. The views from the patio are honestly just as good as the food! My favorite meal here is the Pharmacy Burger, with sweet potato fries and the Rosé milkshake. You have to order a beer while you are here too!

6. Acme Feed and Seed

This spot is perfect to start your night out on Broadway. Go to Acme for dinner and enjoy live music while you eat. Once you finish eating, make your way on up to the rooftop to take in the beautiful views and enjoy a drink or two. From there, you can start to make your way around Broadway and check out all the different bars. You are in for a real fun night out on the town!

7. Puckett’s

I love the history inside of this restaurant. It first started out as a grocery store in the 1950’s, and later turned into a restaurant with amazing food and live music 24/7! This is a great spot to hit for lunch as you are adventuring around downtown Nashville. I suggest trying out one of their barbecue sandwiches with fries for lunch. Be sure to treat yourself with a home cooked cheery cobbler with ice cream on top!

8. Bluebird Cafe

This restaurant offers a unique experience because they hold concerts everyday. In order to eat here, you have to make a reservation so that you have a spot for the concert. If you are able to book a reservation, do it! You won’t know who is performing until at least a week before your reservation, but hey, at least you’ll get to hear some live music and enjoy a delicious meal. It can’t get much better than that!

9. Hattie B’s

You can’t leave Nashville without trying some of their famous hot chicken from Hattie B’s! They serve mild to very spicy fried chicken, along with famous Southern sides and local brews. Order a few different types of fried chicken and sides, and share it with you and your friends!

10. Taco Mamacita

This is the tourists’ favorite spot right here for some good Mexican food! Of course you have to order some tacos, chips and salsa, and a Marg while you are here. Be sure to sit outside near the restaurant sign so that you can get a few pictures while you are eating. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants, you should also try Taco Mama, San Antonio Taco Co., Taqueria de Sol, Mas Tacos, and BarTaco. I honestly had a hard time deciding which Mexican restaurant is my favorite, so please do me a favor and try them all!
