Liquid matte lipsticks are LIFE! Or at least they are to me! They complete a bomb makeup look so effortlessly and stay put on your lips for hours. Some women hate matte lipsticks though because they can be drying to their lips (you should always exfoliate and put a small dab of lip balm on your lips before applying a liquid lipstick). However, because I am a self-professed liquid matte lipstick queen, I know 10 brands of liquid matte lipsticks that have a great formula and will not dry out your lips. Dose of Colors is a makeup brand that offers a variety of makeup products but are more so beloved for their liquid matte lipsticks. Their liquid matte lipstick formula is very comfortable and non-drying on the lips.
Coloured Raine is one of my absolutely favorite liquid matte lipsticks brands! To me, their formula is beyond amazing because it doesn’t apply streaky or sticky. Side note, their “Cherry Blossom” liquid matte lipstick is thee perfect blue-based red that is my favorite red to wear!
Beauty Bakerie is another popping makeup brand that has a great liquid matte lipstick formula. I love how their formula doesn’t have a “heavy” feel to it when you apply it and covers the “cracks” that the bottom part of your lip can have.
Gerard Cosmetics products are all fantastic and high quality, but their matte lipstick formula is probably the best overall. I say that because I personally own a few of their liquid matte lipsticks and I have eating food with oil and somehow, my lipstick would still be intact and look great.
I cannot talk about liquid matte lipsticks and not include Kyle Cosmetics. Kyle Cosmetics has a great liquid matte lipstick formula as well as a great lip liner formula. I love how smooth and effortless her liquid matte lips apply on my lips.
ColourPop not only is crazy affordable with their high-quality makeup products, but also has an extremely comfortable liquid matte lipstick formula that won’t dry out lips. They also have an ultra-blotted matte lip formula that is the definition of amazing!
NYX is another crazy affordable brand with high-quality makeup products. Their regular liquid matte along with their liquid soft matte lipsticks, are completely divine. Both formulas feel as if you are applying gloss on your lips.
Maybelline as of recently have been heavily coming out with liquid matte lipsticks that they call “super stay”. I have tried their newest ones recently and I must they say that they don’t disappoint, and my lips felt and looked good.
Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Matte Lipsticks are not only true to their name but also true to moisturizing the lips. I love her formula because of how silky it feels and covers the cracks in the lips without adding more.
