10 Autumn Drinks To Try When The Weather Gets Colder

With Summer over, Autumn is fast approaching. Therefore, it often means changes in our routine. From the clothes we wear, to the activities we do, drinks are also part of this transition into Autumn. It is time to swap cold lemonade for warming drinks. If you want to try ten autumn drinks when the weather gets colder, be sure to keep on reading!

Sensational Starbucks:

Starbucks are a global brand, favoured for their drinks. There is no better feeling then sipping on a Starbucks drink, whilst walking through a park on a chilly day. But it doesn’t have to be any ordinary drink, as fortunately Starbucks have their Autumn menu for all of us to enjoy. A personal favourite is the pumpkin spiced latte. The nutty rich flavour is warming and delightful, it is the perfect Autumn drink.

An iced treat:

If you fancy something a bit sweeter, Starbucks have a whole lot more to offer. Not only do they have a list of hot treats to enjoy, they do not disappoint for any iced coffee fans out there. They have their iced maple latte; this sweet rich drink is silky smooth and won’t disappoint! This is one of the best autumn drinks!

A cosy Costa:

Another big brand favourite is Costa Coffee, who  do not disappoint for Autumn.  They are launching an Autumn menu, are prayers have been answered. So, why not try a bonfire spiced latte? Yes, you heard correct, a bonfire flavour. Costa apparently want to draw the flavours of Autumn with toasted spice and the sensation of standing in front of a roaring bonfire. If this doesn’t embody Autumn, I’m not sure what will!

A classic favourite:

Now the weather is getting colder, it is acceptable to enjoy a hot chocolate, right? Creamy rich chocolate with lots of cream and marshmallows is an un-doubtful favourite for the colder season.

A warming treat:

If you fancy something with a bit of alcohol. Cider is the perfect pick, it is fruity and an enjoyable drink for many. To give it an autumn edge, why not try it hot with a squeeze of lemon or cinnamon. This fruity drink is a must have!

Charming Chai:

Chai lattes have been a popular choice in 2018. It is perfect for Autumn too, the subtle spice and fragrance of cinnamon screams Autumn. You can try this delight from selected coffee shops, or there is an abundance of recipes online!

Upgrade any drink:

Automatically add Autumn flavours to any drink with a few stock cupboard essentials. If you’re enjoying a coffee or hot chocolate at home, why not try adding a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg? This will give your standard drink some added flare.

Caramel latte:

Why not try a caramel flavoured latte alongside the rest? You can pick up this tasty treat from selected coffee shops, or why not try it at home? All you have to do is add vanilla syrup or caramel sauce to your latte, coffee or even on top off the cream on your bog-standard hot chocolate. This will add a sweetness and touch of indulgence to any drink. If you are feeling a bit extra, why not add some small bits of toffee on top of your cream, delicious!

Wonderful white hot chocolate:

Why not branch out and try a white-hot chocolate for Autumn? There is an abundance of recipes online to make your own at home. To add an extra twist, why not try adding orange liqueur or peel for an extra punch to this delightful drink!

Clever cider:

Yes, another cider recipe, but this time served cold. To make it special for Autumn, try mixing it with some sliced oranges or cinnamon for an added punch!
