Seeing music live is the best way to experience what the musician’s intentions were when formulating their craft. Lucky for us, this fall some amazing artists announced that they will be going on tour. And regardless of what genre of music you like, you’ll be bound to find the right concert for you. If you happen to find yourself in the Boston area this fall, here are 7 artists you should see!
Post Malone announced his “Runaway Tour” on July 15th, and fans have been buzzing ever since. While Malone’s last album was “Beerbongs and Bentleys” released in 2018, he will be going on tour again this fall with Swae Lee, who is featured on the track “Sunflower” and rapper Tyla Yaweh. This is definitely a concert you’re going to want to consider, not only because Post is amazing, but due to the fact he will be performing two nights at TD Gaden. These performances will take place on October 8th and 9th so be sure to get your tickets soon!
With the release of his new album, “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind”, Logic will be going on tour this fall. He’ll be playing on November 5th at Boston University’s Agganis Arena. Not only can you enjoy listening to his new stuff, but with four previous albums and his mixtapes, you’re bound to be in for a really great show. So all you Bobby Tarantino fans get those tickets stat!
If you missed the “Oh What A World Tour” the first time through, you now have a second chance to see Musgraves perform hits from her Grammy award-winning winning album “Golden Hour”. On September 12th, she will be performing at the Rockland Trust Bank Pavillion. So if you love Musgraves, have the album on loop, and you’re in the Boston area, you should definitely get tickets!
Are you in love with Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty” album? Well, you’re not going to want to miss her on her “Cry Pretty Tour 360” this fall! Underwood is playing on October 1st at TD Garden. This would be the perfect concert to hear all your favorite tracks off the album and a few past favorites. Also, if you’ve never seen her play live, this would be a great chance to do so.
A stellar combination for sure, The Chainsmokers will be performing on their “World War Joy Tour”, along with 5 Seconds of Summer and Nashville’s Lennon Stella is bound to be a great show! Recently 5 SOS collaborated with The Chainsmokers on the song “Who Do You Love”. The show will take place on September 28th at TD Garden and is predicted to be one of the most popular shows of the fall. If you’re a fan, order those tickets now!
On September 17th at the Rockland Trust Bank Pavillion, Bastille will be performing songs from their 2019 album “Doom Days”. The album is a detailed account of a night out, and the conflicting feelings of hopelessness, excitement, love, rejection, and security, so it’ll be interesting to see if the band decides to play tracks in a similar chronological fashion or switch things up.
Perhaps one of the best alternative bands of the past decade, The Black Keys are going on tour this fall to promote their new album “Let’s Rock”. If you are a fan, you’ll be able to see them play on October 11th at TD Garden. If you’ve been with The Black Keys since their “Big Come Up” days in ’02 you’re not going to want to miss this show!
