10 Adorable Gameday Outfits at North Carolina State University

If you are proud member of the Wolfpack you know that when fall rolls around, Saturday’s are for football. While school spirit, mixed drinks, barbecue and tailgating are all important aspects of this wonderful season it goes without saying that nothing ties it all together quite like the perfect game day outfit. If you’re struggling to find the right combination in your closet on a Friday night, here are some trendy and adorable choices to consider that’ll definitely have you looking like a million bucks while you back the pack! Below are 10 adorable gameday outfits at North Carolina State University!

1. The NC State Jersey

By far the most popular choice, nothing shows off your school spirit while keeping it cute better than our team’s jersey.  You can pair it with jeans, shorts, leggings, a skirt, or any bottoms of your choice, making it the most versatile option available.

2. The Sundress

If you don’t own at least one sundress you obviously aren’t from the south. This outfit has proven itself time and time again not only because it makes you look like you put in a ton of effort to look nice while doing practically nothing at all, but it’s extremely comfortable on even the warmest of fall days.  Pair it with some sneakers or cowboy boots to finish the look.

3. Button Front Mini Skirt & Blouse

A more stylish combo that has surfaced in recent years, the button front mini skirt has become a wardrobe essential. Couple it with the top of your choice and your favorite sneakers.

4. The Romper

Who doesn’t love a good romper? They’re adorable and super comfortable, minus the fact that you’re naked when you make that inevitable trip to the ladies room. Definitely consider putting on your Jack Rogers with this outfit, but watch out for dust if you plan on attending the tailgate!

5. High Waisted Jeans & Crop Top

This look might not be new to anyone, but it’s held on throughout the years for a reason.  Plus, high waisted bottoms flatter every body type so you’re sure to look great.

6. The Poncho

Unfortunately, not every game calls for sunny skies. Fortunately, a little inclement weather doesn’t stop the pack. Rainy game days call for your choice of warm layers underneath a State poncho (which can be purchased at the CVS on Hillsborough Street) along with your cozy, waterproof Hunter or Bean Boots.

7. Off The Shoulder Top & Denim Skirt

Shoulders might have been taboo in high school, but they’re encouraged at Carter Finley.

8. Blouse & Leggings

This one sounds a little vague, but if you have a top piece that you really feel yourself in, then by all means rock it at the stadium.  Nothing, literally nothing looks bad with leggings.

9. Destroyed Denim/State Shirt

You can never go wrong with showing school spirit!  It’s time to pull out that shirt your parents bought you from the bookstore on move in day and rock it with your own DIY design!

10. Jeans & A T-Shirt

Finally, the most classic pairing of all time is definitely appropriate for both tailgating and watching the game.  You can wear whatever shoes you want to and you’ll still look great, although I would recommend some ankle booties if you’re looking to add some flare.
