If there’s one thing you need to know about Saturday gamedays at Mizzou, it’s that we go all out. College guys show off their latest athletic polos that rep how well our university tailgates (because we’ve all accepted it’s definitely not because we play the best), while the girls get glammed up in black and gold. To show off how the University of Missouri does game days, I put together some of my favorite looks for everyone’s favorite season! Below are 10 adorable gameday outfits at Mizzou!
You can never go wrong with a solid black dress. Just be sure the fabric isn’t too thick since the temperature is likely to be hot during the start of the season! Also mixing and matching with skirts and shorts makes for a perfectly cute and casual look.
Don’t forget those classic cowboy boots. Not always a necessity, but lots of the die-hard tailgaters definitely own a pair since it’s a tradition in the south.
You’ll notice after just one tiger game day that tons of the girls sport the tiger ears. I don’t have any further explanation other than it’s cute and keeps your hair out of your face in the wind.
If you’re not into the tiger-ear bandwagon, game day bows are a simple and cute alternative to show your school spirit.
Front-lace dresses and tops are all the rage right now, you can’t go wrong keeping it flirty and simple in this look.
It’s all about the shades. Be sure to bring your favorite pair to protect your eyes from the sun!
Keeping it casual is also totally acceptable. Tailgating in heels can be exhausting in which case you are totally allowed to grab your favorite pair of sneakers and head out.
This also makes for the perfect excuse to get away with wearing yellow whether it’s the proper season or not! No one is going to call the fashion police if it’s sporting school spirit!
DIY cut-out shirts are also a cute and flirty tailgate necessity, while keeping the comfort of your favorite t-shirt.
Most importantly, just rock your school colors and have fun!
