It always amazes me when people don’t take fashion majors seriously. I mean who do you think makes or sells the clothes that you are wearing now… Doctors? The world needs fashion majors whether you believe it or not. No matter what others say, at least as fashion majors we can stick together. 1. People assume your major is easy.
There is nothing that drives me more insane than when people assume that because I’m not majoring in Bio-Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering, I have an easy major. Being a fashion major isn’t just looking at fashion magazines all day, we have tests and projects just like everyone else.

2. Adults don’t understand your major.
“Oh a fashion major? What job can you get with that?”

Although not all students who dress up for class are fashion majors, it’s safe to go ahead and assume that a majority of them are.

You go home and about 5 hours into the project you find yourself questioning every reason for choosing this major. Trust me, fashion friends: you will get through it and it will all turn out great!
