How To Go TikTok Famous

More and more people go Tik Tok famous every single day. At the same time, people are staying on the app a lot long every year. Some people want to go famous for the clout. Some people just want the money. If you have 100k followers, you can earn anywhere from $200 to $1000 a month. Obviously, that is not enough to quit your job but it is a nice amount of additional income. If you have 1 million + followers, you can earn anywhere  from $1000 to $5000+ a month. You would make even more money from collaborations with brands. If you are interested in becoming Tik Tok famous, below are some tips to help you do just that.

1. Post every day

You will see the most results if you post around 3 videos every day. I know that seems like a lot. If you are busy, start with 1-2 a day. Since so many people are posting every day, you can’t expect every video to go viral so it will give you more chances. You have to be aware what you are posting at too. Your target audience may be asleep. If you post at 11 pm on a Monday in Hawaii, it is 4 am in New York.

After analyzing 100,000 Tik Tok videos, Influencer Marketing Hub found that the best times to post are:

2. Stick with a niche

The For You Page is where you see your suggested content. You don’t follow those accounts. The algorithm thinks that you will like what they are putting out. What kind of followers do you want? When you know what kind, you need to start brainstorming what will appeal to them. A few examples of niches are fashion try-on hauls, comedy, cooking/recipes, DIYs, how to do gym workouts, etc.

3. Be creative

You have to be creative to stand out. Even though it is good to follow trends, don’t post exactly what everyone else is posting. Try going for the WOW factor. Your videos should be fun or interesting to watch, so they can share it with their friends or family.

4. Hop on trends

Look how for rising trends or sounds. Trends may involve a song, visual effect, or joke. An easy way to find out about trends is following the #trendalert and #tiktokchallenge hashtags. Look at famous Tik Tokers profiles and see what is doing well for them. Scroll through your For You Page to see if there is a consistent theme. Lastly, look at your Discover Page. It will show you trending hashtags and sounds.

This is an example of a bad trend:

5. Engage with followers

The best way to increase engagement on your posts is to regularly respond to your followers. It will help your account become more noticeable. The Tik Tok community appreciates it when they are interacted with. You can even create a video replying to a comment. Maybe they said something rude or sweet. Either way, it is more likely that more people will look at it.

6. Collab with other TikTokers

If you can reach out to Tik Tokers with a bigger following, try to make collab videos. If that is not a possibility, stitch and duet with other Tik Toks. Stitching a video allows you to add a part of someone else’s Tik Tok video to yours. An example is someone could create a video asking a question and then tells you to stitch with it for your answer. A girl got over 1 million likes on her video for asking a certain question. Now, the duet feature is where you play your video next to their video simultaneously. If you want to fill a reaction video, do this. Make sure that you allow your videos to be stitched and dueted.

7. Take risks

As I mentioned earlier, there are tons of people posting on Tik Tok every single day. There are 1 billion active users, so posting videos that are casual are not going to cut it. Sometimes it is beneficial to go out of your comfort zone. Some accounts go famous for posting raunchy jokes. Of course, do not post if you do not feel comfortable.

8. Do talking videos

Talk about something funny or sad that has happened to you. Explain it in a story. You can make multiple parts, so that the viewers will want to go to your profile and watch more of your videos. It is good to put a popular song on underneath you. That will give you the advantage of people searching through the sound.

9. Take dance videos

Take a funny, short dance video and use the correct hashtags and your video will do well. You will get extra viewers if you are dancing in front of a nice view. Pair with a popular song. Make a joke that goes along with a certain trend.

10. Use keywords

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is how you optimize your Tik Tok content for views. Focus on your hashtags. Make sure to not just choose the highest volume hashtags but the ones where you can rank well in. If you are trying to be a fitness guru, it is good to make videos that people would want to search up. For example, create a video about “How to make your glutes grow.” A lot of people would search that up because more people are going to the gym because of summer. More people want to be curvy as well.

11. Take videos of pets

Who doesn’t want to see cute dog or cat videos? This is only if you have a pet or know someone who has one. Look at pet video trends.
