Your last class is complete; school’s out for the week and spring break is finally here! What better way to spend your break than going on a spring break cruise with your family or friends? On a cruise you are able to enjoy the endless amounts of activities that are available or just sit back and enjoy doing, well, nothing! Here are five reasons why you should definitely go on a cruise during your spring break.
Unlike a normal vacation where you have to pick one destination to settle in for the week, traveling on a cruise allows you to visit multiple destinations (and explore the vast ocean). There are tons of route options through different cruise lines – everything from an adventure through the Caribbean to an escapade through the Mediterranean.
Many may believe that because you are stuck floating in the middle of the ocean for several days, there is nothing to do. But boy are they wrong! Aboard many of the newer ocean liners, there are a multitude of different activities for you and your friends or family to enjoy together. For example, there are activities such as zip lining, rock climbing, shows or just hanging out by the pool and soaking up the sun.
If you love food (and let’s be real – who doesn’t), cruise ships are actually an awesome destination to satiate your palette. From five-star quality restaurants to every day pub snacks, there’s literally something for everyone. Not to mention, most of these cruise lines offer complimentary dining included in your ticket price, so no worrying about extra food costs throughout Spring Break week!
On spring break you have the opportunity to take a break from school and unwind, which makes for a great chance to catch up and bond with the people in your life. Whether it be with your mom, your sister, or your high school besties; being trapped on a boat together makes it kind of hard NOT to spend some quality time with one another.
Finally, the most important reason of all to go on a cruise for spring break, is because of the everlasting memories that you will create. Whether it’s taking silly pictures on sandy beaches, singing in karaoke competitions or simply collecting stories during the week, they are memories that you will forever cherish.
