Transport yourself back to the early 2000s when life was simpler and your biggest concern was what color feathers you wanted to put in your hair. These throwback songs will bring back memories of sitting in the backseat of your mom’s car with the windows down, hair flying in the wind, and your throat burning from singing your heart out.

Picture this…it’s the summer of 2010 and you’re dancing around your bedroom with this song on blast! Every time you need a reminder of the good old days, queue this song up and crank the volume as loud as it will go! Some songs just never get old!

What better way to remember your younger years than to jam out to this throwback song! I distinctly remember dancing the night away to this song at my 8th-grade dance. Then again at prom. And even last week after a long day of work! It’s just too good to leave in the past!

Do I even need to say anything? This throwback song radiates pining for your elementary school crush back when you had a minute limit on your phone plan. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then you’re missing out and I’m getting old!

We all know what happens when you mess with T-Swift! She writes a whole album about you! The queen of breakup songs had us crying our hearts out before we even knew what love was! We can thank Joe Jonas for the creation of this absolute banger!

Before Gwen Stefani turned country, she was releasing “bad bitch” music before that term even became a social media phenomenon. I’m picturing this song blasting in your car as you speed to get home before curfew. Am I right or am I right?

Don’t freak out, but this song was released over a decade ago in 2011! Immediately recognized just by the first note of the piano, this iconic break-up song has officially reached throwback status. As Adele continues to produce amazing music, we can never forget where it all began!

With their more recent releases trending on TikTok, it’s only fair to pay tribute to one of their original hits. How could we forget about the iconic sound bite of SpongeBob singing “I’m Ready” that starts the song off with a bang!

I remember being in 5th grade, never having a boyfriend in my life, and yet still relating so hard to this song! Whether it brings back memories of lost love or broken friendships, we can all agree that the amount of nostalgia associated with this song entitles it to a spot on your playlist!
