10 Ways For College Students To Make Money During COVID-19

When it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic we are all in this together. It seems like everyone is struggling in one way of another. We are all feeling lonely and stressed in some way. One of the biggest things people are struggling with is having no way to make money. People have lost their livelihood and are truly struggling to support themselves. Getting jobs is harder than ever and even if you find a job you have to put your health at rise. Here are 10 ways college students can make money during COVID-19 with no contact, some contact, and full contact.

1. Babysit local families.

Babysitting is a great way to make money! This money making tactic is especially nice during the pandemic because it has limited contact, but also allows you the opportunity to be around other people. We have all been lonely, so it is nice to have any outlet for them. Many towns have a Facebook group specifically for babysitting, so make sure to check that out. If not you can use some networking to ask around and see if anyone needs a sitter. Moms have been stuck inside alone with their kids and they need a break!

2. Do some freelance writing.

There are a ton of places online to submit freelance writing! A quick Google search will open the world to freelance writing! There are people out there who want to hear what you have to say and they will pay you to hear it! It is a super cool way for aspiring writers to get published and get paid for it. It may take some time to find someone to hire you, but don’t give up!

3. Remote internships all over the world.

Right now many companies are not having in person employment opportunities. Websites such as LinkedIn and Indeed have tons of job postings right now for remote employment. If you go to any job search platform and search remote internships you will have many options in many different job fields. This is also a good method to further your career while there isn’t much else to do. This is a great option for motivated individuals.

This is an easy way to make money and you can create your own schedule.

5. Take online surveys.

Websites like SurveyJunkie will pay you just for taking surveys. This is one of the easiest things you will ever be able do to make money.
