10 Things To Do New Year’s Day

New Year’s Day is a fresh start for everyone. Here are 10 things to do New Year’s day to start your year off right.

1. Get organized.

Begin to plan out the next semester. What are your goals? How do you plan to get through this semester. What does your workload look like? If you have anything that you can already put in your planner to be prepared, do it. If you have access to your syllabus for next semester make an assignment matrix.

One of the most important things to do new year’s day to start the year off right. What can you get rid of to make room for all the new clothes you will be getting for Christmas? Ask yourself three simple questions, and if the answer to any is “no,” get rid of it.

  • Does it still fit me?
  • Have I worn this in the last 6 months?
  • Will I wear it in the next 6 months?

7. Read a book.

Read something that isn’t going to require an essay in a week. Chances are, you wont be able to do that again until May.
