What To Wear To A Music Festival When You Don’t Know What To Put On

Festival season is nearly upon us. And if you’re a festival native or a newbie, it’s always best to dress appropriately. Now festival fashion is almost a season upon itself, as around this time the shops fill with tassels, kimonos, and wellies. But with so many different festivals and different options of style; we’re talking boho, rock, casual, then dressing for the festival season can be quite daunting. So to make your life easier, we thought we’d show you what to wear to a music festival when you just don’t know what to throw on!

Fringe/ Tassels

Fringe has always been a popular look in festival fashion. Whether it’s fringe on a jacket, a top or a handbag; this bohemian classic is always a popular look at festivals. A fringed bag is a great way to add the bohemian style to your festival look in an epic and understated way.

Bralettes

A bralette is an awesome outfit choice to give you that effortlessly sexy look. Paired with either a high-waisted pair of jeans or shorts and you’ve got the cutest yet simplest festival outfit. Try it with a statement dark colour to give you that rock chick chic. A crochet bralette is also one of the winners that give you that summer is finally here feeling. Match it with a flower crown or daisy choker to keep that summer feeling all the way through the festival.

Denim shorts

Now denim shorts are a staple in all festival fashion wear for many reasons. Their simplicity. The fact they match with mostly anything. Plus their easy to pack. So if you’re partying in a field for longer than a day, high waist shorts are your best friends. Try experimenting with different colours and patterns to really showcase your style. You could go glittery, studded, or even galactic which is our personal favourite. The possibilities are endless and we’re sure you’ll look good in all of them.

Graphic/Vintage T-Shirts

A graphic t-shirt or vintage t-shirts are a great festival look. You can bleach them, shred them, wear them loose, wear them tight…oh my god the list goes on. And each way can look awesome and unique. Root through your local vintage stores and you’ll definitely find some gems. Wear a long baggy t-shirt to get that shabby chic look.
