Step 1: Oil based cleanser

Cleansing your face with an oil based cleanser not only removes make-up effectively but also removes sunscreen and pollution particles that your pores have caught throughout the day.

Step 2: Double cleanse

You might think why do I need to cleanse my face again? Haven’t I already done that? Well, to be honest, cleansing your face once is not enough to fully remove the debris from your pores. Using a water-based cleanser and washing your face the second time will improve your skin condition as it removes impurities such as sweat and dirt.

Step 3: Exfoliate

Exfoliating will remove dead skin cells as they tend to get caught in your pores and after removing the dull layer of dead skin cells your complexion will seem brighter and the following skincare products will be able set into your skin better. You should exfoliate at least once a week to 3 times a week and increase the amount depending on your skin needs. This way your skin is fully cleansed and free from any debris and prevents clogged pores.

Step 4: Toner

Toning your skin is the first step to re-hydrating your skin after all the cleansing and removal of debris from your pores. This step is crucial for prepping your skin for the following steps and help the absorption of the following steps.

Step 5: Essence

Essence is pretty much the secret to Korean skincare products and it is fully credited to Korean skincare routines. This treatment is similar to treatments but it is more water based and easier to absorb and also acts as a prep for the next step.

Step 6: Treatments (serum, ampoule, boosters)

Treating your skin concerns and is a crucial step in achieving your beauty goals. This step is important for those with skin concerns such as redness, pigmentation, anti-aging concerns and much more. This is the essential step to correcting any skin issues.

Step 7: Sheet masks

Similar to the previous step, sheet masks are selected according to your skin needs, and it not necessary as a daily step but when you feel that your skin needs some extra care. The masks are highly concentrated with treatment products so they are a strong and quicker fix to skin concerns.
