This is my personal favourite. Broderie anglaise (‘English embroidery’) is instantly recognisable from its pattern of little holes and is so named because of its surge in popularity in Victorian England. It’s become modernised and looks gorgeous and feminine as part of any outfit. White is the classic colour used for broderie anglaise, and it makes the unique pattern look best. It’s pretty, the material is light and it’s another summer trend. Go for a blouse or dress to complete the look.
