Solid coloured tops, and denim bottoms are great choices to consider when styling patterned clothing as they’re both fashionable and basic at the same time.
When trying to style two or more patterns together, one thing to keep in mind is to distribute them well. Don’t get me wrong- if you want to style a patterned shirt with a printed jacket, go ahead! Just bear in mind that doing this might make your top look too busy, and as a result, cause your outfit to look out of place. In case this happens, be sure to distribute your patterns more evenly, by having one on the top and one at the bottom.
