The Glitter Makeup Ideas That Will Have You Feeling Like A Queen

Glitter has been taking over the world. Glitter drinks, glitter body spray, and of course, glitter makeup. Shiny shimmery glitter is a luxurious addition to any makeup look and is sure to make you feel like queen. But glitter isn’t exactly the easiest thing to incorporate into your makeup, so here’s some inspiration. Sparkle away and blind everyone with these beautiful glitter makeup ideas that will be sure to have you feeling like a queen.

Smoky Glitter

Start off simple with this beautiful gold glitter cut crease with a sultry dark burgundy eye look. The beautiful gold glitter on the lid isn’t too overwhelming, but definitely enough for it to give you that extra little pop of sparkle. The beautifully blended deep burgundy shade in the crease and bottom lash line perfectly off-sets the whimsical lightness of the gold sparkle, adding a sultry and smoky element to the look.

Glitter doesn’t just belong on your eyelids! Pop some sparkling silver chunky glitter onto your lower lash line and some bigger gemstones on either side of your eyes and your temple for that beautiful boho glitter look. The minimalist eyelid with a clean and simple winged liner is perfectly paired with the eye-catching lower lash line. The silver liner applied to the water line pulls the look together and completes it. This is one of the more subtle festival glitter makeup ideas for you to wear.

Heart Shaped Shadow

Opt for a subtle glitter look if your style if more low key, the perfect way to go with this is a simple glitter liner. Apply a thin line neatly above your usual black winged liner with a full eyeshadow look or none at all. This beautiful maroon blended look pairs perfectly with the gold glitter liner that adds a pop of sparkle. If you don’t feel like eye shadow, just apply eyeliner and a glitter liner for some extra dimension.

Of course, glitter also belongs in the inner corner. Pop some glitter onto your inner corners in stead of your usual inner corner highlight for some extra oomph. The inner corner glitter sparkle is easy, not too overwhelming, and will definitely look good with any makeup look you could be going for. This is one of the glitter makeup ideas that is more feminine.

Yet another great look suitable for music festivals and concerts. This one is topped off with a neutral eye look, with just a cool tone brown over the lids and on the lower lash line for some depth. Lipstick Glitter

If you’re bored of your regular lipstick shades, or those shimmer glosses just aren’t enough for you, go for the glitter lip (I told you glitter belongs everywhere). Pop on your favourite lip colour, some glitter glue, and then sprinkle generously with your chosen glitter lip shade! If you’re feeling wild, opt for a bright coloured glitter shade and sport that coloured lip. Pair with a minimalist eye look to keep the focus on your lips to complete the look.

Festival Glitter

Have some underage dark circles or discolouration to cover up? Glitter is the answer! I am just kidding, but the under eye is yet another grey place to pop glitter on for that beautiful sparkly look. Use your favourite glitter and apply in a downward triangle shape to elongate those eyes and add shape to your glitter. Or really try out any shape you care to make!
