5 Swedish Clothing Brands To Look Out For This Year

Sweden is located in Northern Europe between Norway and Finland. The country is well known for hosting Stockholm fashion week, a week where all the top designers get together and showcase their latest Scandinavian influenced designs. The talent in fashion coming out of Sweden is vast and it’s hard to keep up with it all. So to stop you from having to search, we’ve provided you with intel on some Swedish clothing brands to keep an eye on in the year of 2018!

1. H&M

Sweden’s leading brand for fashion, H&M has opened doors for the Swedish fashion industry with stores across Europe. Always one to watch for the latest trends at affordable prices. After announcing earlier this month that they were dressing the Swedish teams for the Olympic and Paralympic games in PyeongChang 2018.

2. COS

COS is a brand under the H&M Group. They launched in 2007 and have stores located in carefully considered places. The fashion is for men and women who want modern and functional clothing. They offer reinvented classic wear and wardrobe essentials. Their pieces have been created to be timeless and not restricted to just one season. They are a tad more upmarket than H&M so their prices are considerably higher but they are definitely one to watch.

3. Monki

Monki was born in Sweden in 2005, its focus is fashion for women. Fun and colourful clothing with all sorts of textures. They have recently opened a store in Stratford’s Westfield in the tail end of 2017, their third physical store to open in the UK. Monki is about affordable Scandinavian fashion with a twist of Japanese street style.
